So boring! During family swim there are no slides, no floaties, nothing to climb, nothing exciting for kids. I experienced the Vegreville pool for the first time and it was amazing! The air in the changing room and pool was pleasantly warm and they have a giant water slide! Bonnyville needs to do SOMETHING to liven up our pool, instead of taking everything away from it.

I am an Edmontonian who brought her kid for a Bronze Medallion and Cross course for two weekends to this pool and from the very start (phone conversation with staff) our experience was absolute success! We discovered that our son forgot his swimming gear at home and within minutes found out that this pool rents out swim suits and towels for 2$ each. We were also able to purchase swim goggles at the reception. Lori, lead lifeguard and course instructor, also informed us that the course will be running only on Saturday and Sunday to better accommodate people like us who were staying in a hotel in order to provide our children with this opportunity.
Pool is not very big, but it has a lot of fun stuff for leisure visitors. Everything was very clean and staff was extremely friendly.

Alright, for the most part. For your kids to swim in the deepened without a life jacket they need to have taken swimming lessons from this pool centre. Kids under 9 need parental supervision. Sauna. No hot tub. Main Pool is Luke warm. Kids Pool more warm. . .we Ll know why.

Great place to go if you want your kids to get sick. It's like 5° in there!! And no hot tub! Not worth the drive

The staff are friendly, but the idea of renting out goggles for $3.00 doesn't make any sense. It’s lost and found from the public in the first place and not the pool's property. It would make sense to put money down for deposit and refund once returned. It's a rip-off, I think, for the kids who wanted to borrow goggles, and instead of buying their snacks there, it will go to whoever knows pocket?!

The pool is a great thing to have in town. We enjoy the family swim times. The pool suffers from being dated and not having that fun/ wow factor. However it is functional and gives us an affordable family outing.

Not kid (4-6) friendly. The pool just drops off so short kids can't play without a life vest. They have a kiddy pool/I think it's a hot tub? But I was closes till about 2 (the public swim is from 1:30-3:30) with a max capacity to 5, so if you wanted to get in it was a bit of a struggle. It was an a 2/5 experience.

Well when I wanna go there CLOSED but when I don't there open, and they need more stuff like the floaty bridge St.paul has, And not to put really lots of clorine it made me and lots of my friends break out with pimples. Anyway it's a very very good pool, and one day I went and seen there were no life guards at the main office where you pay to go in. And I seen the cash register was wide open and no one was there for about like 30min so I took a video and hopefully the boss can see how smart they are to leave the cash register wide open like that.
