This last week I was shocked to find the new owners of the store had NO IDEA of what wood stain was and thus tried to sell me a spray can of paint. After I explained what I needed he then went to a container with odd items and handed me a small container of muscle ointment. I very nicely declined and took my business elsewhere.
It unfortunate that people will take over a long established Hardware store, when they have no clue of what Hardware is!!!

This place is a true, honest, small town hardware store! They seem to have been collecting forma century, and you never know what your going to find in there. If you ask, the owner knows where everything is, and there's not much they don't carry. There's even a porcelain toilet in the middle of an aisle buried under brass knickknacks and dust, but everything is for sale! Insulators, new lamps, oil lamps, cable, tools, sockets, handmade wrenches, it's too much to capture in here... Check some of the photos for an idea! It's a trip back in time that was well worth a visit!

This little store is packed with all kinds of interesting items. When I can't find something in other stores, I can usually find it here. The owner and his wife are so friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasure to shop here.
