We moved here, sight unseen from across the country & it ended up working out great for us. The location is perfect, middle of the city, it is a small city but the location really is in the centre of it all so you could walk to a cafe, grocery store, lake, park, gym, or even the local hospital and it’s all a reasonable distance. The grounds are well kept year round, snow removed from the paths & sidewalks extremely quickly after it snows & never slippery on the paths even when it’s icy; in summer the grass and flowers are beautifully maintained. There’s also a small play structure on the property for kids, as well as access to basketball nets in the summer, and a large green space. Family friendly location & property managers who have even hosted family events within the townhouses green space for tenants and others in the community with the rcmp running a bike safety obstacle course for the kids.
When there’s a maintenance request, the property managers respond promptly & if they can take care of it themselves I have yet to wait longer than 48hrs, if it’s a contractor the timeline is still reasonable and there is a prompt update from the managers to let us know what to expect. They also provide access to lawnmowers & weed eaters & extension cords in the summertime to be able to easily maintain your own yard.
Overall it has been a good experience here thus far & I would recommend for renters, especially ones who are new to the area and ease of access by foot & car to certain places is vital.

Since this review I have been bombed through email with phishing scams.
I rented from Willowbrook for a shorter than lease. Paid for the break of the lease. Nothing was damaged and I should have taken pictures. They sent me a final report of the move out and said there was some minor touch ups of paint needed. Shouldn’t be long. One month later I’ve been charged $850.00 for minor touch ups. They are required to pay back your damage deposit back within ten days. It’s been over 45 days. Now saying I owe them money.
Do not move here if you have another option. I left my place clean and free from anything major so the move out could happen quickly. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Very unprofessional, the townhouse are very cute inside, however during the showing of one of the units the landlord went off on what appeared to be a maintenance man in the middle of the showing. It was very uncomfortable. If that is how she conducts herself in front of a potential renter I’m afraid to see how she is as a landlord. This interaction made us look else where.

Cheap renovations, the landlord's do "maintenance" at least 3 times a month and the manager is very unpleasant to deal with, and don't expect ur damage deposit back! Also the electrical wiring is illegall so I wouldn't be surprised if the place burns down.
