I'm the idiot you see biking around town in -40 with a scarf up to his eyeballs. I bike ALL YEAR ROUND, and Mach 1 is where I go for all of my biking needs, with almost no exceptions. The owner of this place is helpful, patient and best of all informative. If I have a question, he has an answer. No matter what my needs have been, as easy as some free air pumped into my tires, or a brand new pair of tires, this place has had it for me. With a smile.
Also worth mentioning that the price point for quality is very fair. Everything I have bought from here so far has been durable and dependable.
I would recommend that you give this place a try, and if you have given them a try and aren't sure, I recommend you give them a second try.
Plus, they almost always have adorable dogs on premises which are cuddly and friendly. 😍

Has to be the one of the best stocked stores I’ve ever been in. From the smallest kid to adult they have so much to offer. Hopefully the Cold Lake community can support such a great business. Great service

Worst customer service I ever received in my life. The owner of this shop is friendly only if you buy something expensive from there. Also, everything in the store is extra expensive than any online/offline stores so make sure you do your research before you buy something from there.

Went in to get geared up for my first ski season 2 years ago. Knew nothing at all about skiing or gear. Owner got me into a pair of tecnica boots, size 26.5, MV. I kept having problems with my feet and (while skiing) when I moved to the rockies, lo and behold, one of the boots had a lift or extra insole in it, and when I went to get refitted, I got into an almost identical pair of tecnicas at 25.5, but HV. Not someone I would trust if you arent sure what you're doing.

Dropped off a walmart bike, the back of the bikes metal was twisted and I could not ride with it in its state.

They not only fully repaired it super fast but also we're friendly and informative, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED these guys.

I bought my mountain bike there, during a pretty hefty deal. That was awesome I got it like 400 bucks off. This shorter girl knew her stuff, awesome person. They have such a cool shop and had a nice experience, great staff and very helpful.

I would have given zero stars if it let me, as I received zero customer service from this place. I went to buy new ski gear and was told it is $20 to try on ski boots, I feel like they are trying to lock me into a sale. The $20 goes towards the sale of the boots, so either lose $20 or be committed to buy the boots. I offered to try on my own ski boots and the sales girl rudely stated “I will not be putting your boots on you”. I asked if they didn’t have boots that fit me would I get the $20 back, they said no. The owner told me that customers spend 30 minutes trying on ski boots and don’t buy them, or buy them online, like he has never owned a retail store before. So, either he needs to provide better service, or better prices to get customers. I was prepared to unload $1000+ on a new ski, boots, etc., but instead I will wait until I go to Edmonton. I always try to buy local, but some places make it real hard.
