Can’t say that I am happy with their work, communication, or pricing. We made an appointment to have a thread and a leaky steering fixed. We brought the truck, showed him everything in detail and made an appointment for next week to do the work.

In the end, they spent the whole day with essentially cutting two threads (a job that should take no longer then 2-3 hours) and did not even look at the steering. Shortly before closing they told us that they wouldn’t look at the steering and we should go find a different workshop for that. If you’re afraid to do the job, tell us upfront instead of wasting our time and money. I needed to take apart the part they worked on again and repair the steering myself (in under a day by the way), so I essentially needed to redo everything they did.

To top it all off, they forgot to put back one if safety-critical screws that hold the steering in place (which I luckily noticed before leaving), otherwise we may have ended up in the next ditch.

The work they did wasn’t good either, the threads are not well cut and instead of proper gasket maker they used some kind of “flange maker” (non-automotive) to seal the housing. I redid that myself as well with proper gasket maker. I also asked them to swap out 4 rubber bushings (which went around the screw for the steering they worked on), and I even handed them the parts, but they wouldn’t do it it because the said the old ones were still good. I have attached a picture of the old ones (I swapped them myself after), you can judge for yourself how good they are.

For the tiny amount of work they actually did, they charged us over 700 CAD, far off any reasonable amount for this kind of work. If you are looking for quality work, I strongly suggest to go somewhere else.

I lost a hub, drum, and 2 rims on Hwy 22 north of Lundbreck AB. Single axle dual tire trailer, odd size components. Called them at 8:15 AM, service truck arrived at 10:30, tore the axle apart, then had to look for parts. By 6 PM, I was back on the road. Experienced mechanic, excellent service. Thank you!
