FVA offers a unique experience with a wide variety of animals being auctioned, including chickens, ducks, rabbits, birds, goats, and sheep. The auction process is smooth, but some staff, particularly the heavier-set young employee, can be a bit rude at times. Despite that, it's an interesting place for anyone in the market for livestock.

It's the only auction left in the valley people! The place is an absolute valuable asset to the community and beyond. They try to accommodate everyone as much as possible but I guess you can't make the PETA and SPCA crowd happy for long. I've never had a problem in the ethical treatment of my animals sold or the cleanliness of the facilities. I travel some distance to deliver, so on site water on arrival is welcoming. Would it be nice if the parking lot was graded? Go ask the manager. Don't whine about it.

Great place to buy animals. The tables outside are like a mini flea market. The restaurant there has the best food u can ever dream of and the couple that run it are the nicest people I have had the pleasure of serving me food

People have lost touch with reality and their food sources. Farms are dirty, barns are dirty, animals are dirty, and of course the parking lot is full of potholes! This is gum-boot territory, not your city petting zoo!
The animals are as well kept as the prior owners can. It's life and making a living buying and selling animals. Fact: your meat comes from this process before the grocery store.
FVA has been around since the 80's and my family has bought and sold animals there since they opened.
To the people who bought animals with health issues, buyer be aware and knowledge of what you're buying, obviously animal husbandry knowledge is important.
I highly recommend FVA for those serious about farming and hope that people dressing the part with fancy cowboy boots and matching duds that have never set foot in cow dung, mucked a stall to go elsewhere when you're looking for entertainment.
Leave the ignorance home. People buy animals for eating and breeding here.

A good place to go with the family to restock on new or older birds
Not sure of the comments ppl saying it’s stressful or dirty, guess what farms are dirty!
The animals are only in cages for a short time.. then you take them home quarantine and care for them
Not sure at all what these people are expecting, or if they just have no experience farming and auctioning (which is what it sounds like) .. they’re a little out of touch.
The cafe has good food too! Always LOVE their soup, and great burgers.. maybe desk staff can be a bit rude and quick but it’s a fast paced and busy place, toughen up!
This is a valuable establishment for our community.

Not sure about the auction process... But in this 5g era
1- cafe menu looks like from the the 80's Bakery items not well presented and accepts ONLY CASH
2- parking lot has more pot holes than level ground
