Came 30 minutes before they opened to finally try their famous cream puff donuts and let me tell you it was well worth the wait! Such a great local business that is so loved by the community! I’ll certainly be back (and likely many times)!

Disappointed with the chocolate cream puffs I got today, they seemed drier than usual and shockingly under-frosted compared to previous summers I've visited. Had an excellent one at Covent Garden Market location just a few weeks ago that was beautifully frosted and fresh, you could really taste the difference!

A wonderful bakery; I found it interesting that the sweet baked goods didn't taste too sweet. They didn't have a sickly sweet aftertaste. They were delicious, without adding tons and tons of sugar, or at least that's how it tasted to me.

Excellent baked goods! Enough peanut flavour in the peanut butter cookies to put you into anaphylactic shock! I especially like the oatmeal cookies - so dense and chewy. The cream buns are another must have. It was nice to pick up treats that weren’t made in a factory by a machine - truly a throwback to another age. The atmosphere is a bit awkward - very quiet and aloof, but nice goodies. This is a MUST visit when you arrive in Goderich!

I’ve been coming to this bakery for thirty years, I live over 2 hours away. Used to be able to call in the morning and put items on hold….now they won’t even answer the phone. Now knowing that I placed an order online for the next day (Tuesday) so I wouldn’t be SOL. after being sent a confirmation I arrived to the store only for it to be closed. Sign pasted to the outside of the door saying now only open Fridays 8:30-3pm. This is the second time in 4 months this has happened. On my way home from up north,(Thursdays afternoon) something told me to stop….. THEY WHERE OPEN! Nothing left by the time I got there. Staff oblivious! Not Happy! I planned my trip on the way down around their hours. The new owners are running this landmark into the ground, it really is a shame since these are the very best donuts around. I hope they quickly higher somebody competent and get this location back on its feet again. Nobody sane from a small town wants to drive to London for donuts!

A friend of mine was heading to Goderich & I was told about the cream puffs, so I placed an online order the night before they went & I'm SO GLAD I did since my friend missed out; the lady before him in line bought the last box of cream puffs!!
I got my order though (I did offer to share but he declined)so I had lots.

I will tell you that nothing I got disappointed! The cream in the puffs & cruffinpuffs is so light & tasty, not sugary or too sweet but oh so delicious!

I also got the assorted shortbread and will say my favorite was all of them but my top 2 were the coconut & cherry & am definitely getting some more of them, they didn't even make it to the freezer, I ate them all. Haha

I also ordered more than 2 people could eat in a week so I took a chance and froze some, took them out today, thawed them & it was the same deliciousness I had before freezing them! Don't be afraid to order more, I just put the box in a plastic bag & right into the freezer.

I will also say my other favorite treat but the raspberry coconut buttertarts. I honestly never would have thought the two would be a perfect taste March, when I ordered them, I didn't know it was a butter tart so it was the most pleasant mistake ever & most definitely on my list to order more, they also freeze very well!!

Can't wait til my friend goes back but my suggestion is to place your order online the day before or you may be disappointed when you get there if they are sold out. The ease of navigating the site and paying was so easy!

Sadly we didn't get to try the famous creampuffs as they were out. I'll preorder or go earlier in the day next time. They still had a wide selection of dessert bars and we tried 5 different ones. Although they were tasty and fresh I found they weren't anything I haven't had before. Still yummy and solid.
