Please go to the community food centre in downtown ottawa for an emergency bag of food if you are starving. I'm pretty sure there are more food banks that do that too.

As for This food bank, don't waste your time calling. The number on Google doesn't work. You need to call the number on the front of their building. I haven't received my food yet. Still waiting... but we'll see. :/

Just went today and it was a baaaad experience no humanity, I’m a persons in special needs I told the staff that I didn’t eat for 2 days and it’s been 4 days since I called them for appointment even though I don’t know why you need to take one and wait 4-6 days . I told him can I have at least something to eat anything but he keep saying wait for our call.They don’t respect you and don’t care about you . I hope one day they feal what we’re going through and the pain for the rest of their life

Lots of food from the food bank. My tip is make an appointment by phone, I waited a few days but they gave milk, peanut butter, meat proteins, and alot of fruits and veggies.
