I’ve been shopping at Galati almost every day, but unfortunately, after my recent experience, I won’t be returning. The manager was extremely rude when he saw my 2-year-old touching a bag of chips. I understand store items need to be handled carefully, but his reaction felt very unfriendly and unprofessional, especially for a frequent customer with a young child. I hope the management can be more understanding towards families shopping with young kids

Convenient supermarket but the cashier is very rude. Her name was Sofia, I’ve been on the cash register with her several times but she seems to hold a grudge or something. She does not acknowledge her customers even when I’m there almost every time since it’s near to my house. She’s always rude and grumpy. I really like this place since it’s convenient but will rather travel elsewhere to have a pleasant shopping experience and to save the headache

there is a middle aged filipino cashier with glasses that i see always blatantly giving other filipino and asian customers discounts on groceries but would intentionally ignore the discounted stickers on my groceries. I would always mention how she forgot to discount it and would tell me "it comes up at the end" and when it doesnt i would have to go back to the return counter. horrible filipino mother that came all the way from the Philippines just to be a horrible cashier with a terrible attitude. AVOID!

The shopping environment is less than satisfactory, and the employees were not very friendly. Based on this, I will not recommend this place.

Everything in this store is soooooo expensive! I don't understand. Even the PC branded products are more expensive here than at NoFrills. Perhaps you should just convert this store to a Loblaws and charge those crazy prices.

Rude staff that will resort to unacceptable behaviour at the first sign of things not going their way. Truly not run by kind people, avoid at all costs.

Happy to find this high quality supermarket. The bakery and cake look really good. There were lot of different cheese, ham, pizza, bread that you couldn't find in other supermarket. I bought the Israel bread and it was so yummy. The shortbread cookies were a bit disappointing. The vegetables were fresh too.

Probably the best supermarket I've ever been to in Ontario. I went there on the advice from the Chapman's ice cream guys. Their website shows Banana as well as Chocolate water ice (popsicles for most of us). I emailed Chapman's asking where in North York i could find these two since Loblaws, Metro and Longo's never carry them. Chapman's sent me a reply next day and listed several places that had recently ordered these from them.

Gelati's was the one that carried both! 20 min drive to Leslie between Finch and Steeles. What an insanely cool place!!! They had both flavours although getting low and many more choices in pasta brands... had their own meat sauce in a jar... lots of great deli and bakery stuff. Clean, people were really on the ball and friendly. Love this place and will start frequenting!
