Not very impressed. Found staff condescending to clients and at times disrespectful at the dispensary. Mostly seniors frequent this establishment. Overhearing the conversations with the seniors that took place within this establishment, I was not impressed. I wouldn’t want to be treated as if I had no idea about the medication I was taking. Some of these elderly patients are retired health care workers, geriatric nurses and alternative health care professionals who are very savvy when it comes to their own health and medications. It’s so sad to see them being treated as if they are dim witted. I have had the pleasure of dealing with other Guardian Pharmacies in Northern Ontario and they were amazing. I’m glad this little store is not indicative of the level of care Guardian is well know for.

I may have gotten my affiliations with Guardian incorrect, but I WAS in in this Mclaren Pharmacy in Watford. Nice to know that of all the observations given, that affiliation was of the highest concern...

I have been associated with this pharmacy for over twenty years. I find the staff very knowledgable and helpful. They treat patrons with great empathy and ensure that customers are aware of what and why the prescriptions are used for. In addition, through advertisements I see around the Watford area, the business gives a lot of financial support for local clubs and iniatives.

Good day,

At a recent visit to the pharmacy, Nilesh took the time to provide very helpful insight into the proper use of my Ventolin and corticosteroid inhalers. Quite often, physicians don't have the time to provide the details,benefits/side effects, etc.

The information that Nilesh provided was invaluable!!! I wasn't using the inhalers properly before consulting with him. I am now realizing optimal benefit from the use of these drugs, and I am so thankful to Nilesh!!!

In this healthcare partnership within Ontario, I can't imagine navigating the world of prescribed medication without the expert knowledge and care taken by the pharmacist community.
