Was worth the drive from Kitchener. Food was very fresh and tasted great. By far the best breakfast we had in the region.

Update: Another outstanding lunch - their specials can’t be beat! Small portion is very hearty!

A lovely country drive or a visit to nearby K&K Liquidation store always results in a stop at this gem of a restaurant and gift shop! Their special home cooked meals are filling, but it’s their delectable pies that make it worth the drive! Their daily specials include a drink and dessert, so wear stretchy pants as even the small dinner is plentiful. The gift shop has unique items, including an assortment of kitchen goods, and super souvenirs for tourists. Check hours on website as close at 2 pm most days, and closed Sundays.

Fabulous experience all around. The welcome and atmosphere was warm and friendly. The service was prompt, and timely. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful . Best of all, the food was delicious and the proportions were generous. The restrooms were the cleanest ones that I’ve used in a very very long time. Also, I’m so relieved that the restrooms are mens and women’s designated. There is plenty of free parking right onsite. The delightful gift shop was also such a pleasure.

We visited this beautiful place today.
Ordered Sausage Patty Sandwich/Burger + Side of Bacon + Farmers Omelette + French Toast with cream cheese + Coconut Butter Tart.
Overall loved the experience, the owner Muriel was very friendly, we loved the bell at the gift shop.
The food was great, definitely recommended
Our server was very friendly
The french toast was unique, came with a filling of cream cheese
The sausage patty was good in size
And the coffee was delicious too!

Stopped for a soup and sandwich lunch. Service was efficient and pleasant and we were nicely greeted. We enjoyed our soup (beef vegetable) We shared sandwiches, and I have to say that the egg salad sandwich was tasty, but why do egg sandwiches have to be so sloppy? Filling sqeezed out at the first bite, falling into my soup!! I finished the lot! But, maybe less dressing mixed in

This place is lovely. Prices are reasonable, food is great and seems homemade, and the restaurant has a great selection of meals with a very reasonable/tasty all day breakfast. Nice little gift shop and friendly staff. Like a cheaper and less formal Stone Crock. Wheelchair accessible. Get there early to avoid lineups - it's very popular, especially on weekends.

Wow. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. And I've had many good ones. Sausage was definitely the best, ever, bacon lovely and crisp, ham thicker cut and excellent. My wife had the schnitzel special with some of the most awesome mashed potatoes. Very well setup for the mobility challenged. Outstanding service too. Obviously I've become an instant fan. Talked to the folks on both sides of us with similar kudos. Highly recommended!

Updated about a year later. No change, still outstanding meals. Tonight it was ribs for me, schnitzel for her, and pie for both of us. Outstanding!

Fries are there as the only polite way to get ketchup in your mouth. 😂

Omigosh, just had Theeee BEST breakfast and the Best service and fun here while in town taking my pups to their groomer... My breakfast was absolutely cooked to Perfection (I honestly couldn't have cooked it better myself at home!!!) and the pancakes - - Omg, were like when I was a kid at home! Highly recommend!! Just a special experience at the end of a super busyyyy week! Thanks Janelle, and the Amazzzzzzzzzing cook!!! PS... The gift shop is Superrrrr cuteeee with lots of unique and Seasonal gifts!! I had a great time here!!
