Very Helpful staff and stand by their products. I had an issue with a very comfy mattress where the seams were getting discoloured after 2 years. They immediately replaced the waterproof cover while awaiting the manufacturer’s decision on the mattress. They offered to give us a refurbished mattress of a higher quality for no extra cost. It turned out it still had a bit of a smell from a smoker’s house so they shipped us the same mattress brand new along with a 100$ gift certificate. I would 100% buy from sleep country over any other seller in the future. Throughout the entire process the staff and customer support very helpful and friendly. Our new replacement mattress is going great so far

We went into this location ready to buy a king-sized mattress and bed frame, but after dealing with the salesperson, we were happy to walk out without making a purchase. The salesperson was inept, lacked appropriate knowledge of the products, and was generally disrespectful towards us. When the time came to discuss the price, he instantly became more aggressive, mean, and accusatory towards us when we showed pictures of people's receipts for paying less for this mattress at other Sleep Country locations very recently. The salesperson did everything in his power not to close a sale, and even though we wanted to buy this product, there was no way on earth we would give him the satisfaction of the commission after how we were treated, and we wouldn't be coming back. As others have stated in their reviews, despite the area around here being very busy and highly populated, this location is often almost empty, with no other customers in the store, and there's a legitimate reason for that. Also, I can do without the AI written or copy-and-pasted response from "Melissa" to this Google review. You don't care; we all know you won't change anything. Stop wasting your own time with your fake empathy. Your last six reviews have been two stars and below...I suspect a big part of the problem is that from what I've seen in person and other reviews, this location is staffed nearly exclusively with one ethnicity that seems only to treat customers from that same ethnicity with respect. In contrast, everyone else gets treated like dirt, which is not worth their time.

For anyone reading this, notice how the text response from the "owner" is word for word the same as to other negative comments below without acknowledging my concerns or anything that I wrote in my review. This location doesn't care about the customer or the customer service and has an AI bot responding to Google reviews. In fact when we went to another SleepCountry location in Markham the sales rep there gave us a 57% discount on the exact same product the rude rep at the Sheppard Yonge location told us was "impossible". It seems it's only impossible for people in the bottom percentiles of sales skills. Maybe pick a new career buddy...

Yesterday we went there to buy mattress and it was the best purchase experience we’ve ever had.

Nary was kind and friendly with upmost professional service. We could feel that he truly wanted to help and do the best he can to provide us with thoughtful solution that meets our demand.

My husband and I went to this store today to buy a mattress and pillows because we have just moved and urgently need them. Unfortunately, there was a very rude salesperson there who was talking to a customer from his own country. After fifteen minutes, we asked him when he would assist us, and he rudely told us to wait until he was done with the other customer. We waited for another thirty minutes, and he continued to talk to the previous customer, acting as if we weren't there. He never once apologized for the nearly hour-long wait. When I asked him how much longer it would take, he snapped at us, asking why we were even there, and I told him that this was no way to talk to customers. He then yelled that it wasn't his problem and that he was just one person. We were so upset by his behavior that we left the store, and he told the previous customer to just ignore us. I will never buy from this store and another sleep country , ever. We own a restaurant nearby and are very disappointed in the management for hiring such rude salespeople.

Went to buy a duvet cover and asked to see everything available but only showed me some of them. They also didn't have any samples and they were final sales.

I bought one at the end but the salesperson's tone & attitude were almost enough to make me leave the store and look elsewhere.

If I wasn't in need of one urgently, I would've looked elsewhere.

Worst experience ever. Stepped into the store for 3mins and still checking around. A shopkeeper( long hair dude) just "politely" ask us to leave because we are a large group of people (4people) where there are no other customers around.

Have been a long-time customer of Sleep Country. This particular store has a very knowledgeable and experienced Sales person. Anand is very patient and helpful when it comes picking mattress and bedding options. He knows the products extremely well and he would make the best recommendations based on your particular needs and budget. Once you experience his service you would always walk away feeling completely satisfied with your purchase.
