Excellent service à la clientèle, cette fois. En plus je me suis fait servir en français par deux des trois personnes qui m'ont aidé. Un gros merci.

On Tuesday we went to Rona+ to purchase a new fridge. The one we were interested in was $3300. We went to Home Depot to see the difference in price and Home Depot's was $3100 (or so we thought, they told us it would be $4200). Husband went back to Rona+ today to see if they would price match, if not we were prepared to pay the $3300. He asked an older man for help and the man complained that he wasn't clocked in yet (I understand, but maybe radio someone else to come help?). When husband asked if they would price match, he said no because the fridge has been discontinued so they are no longer selling it. The fridge is on the floor in the store... We said we would be okay with taking the floor model and the employee outright refused to sell it to us? Hoping we have better luck at The Brick, but becoming a bit disheartened by the stores in our area that sell appliances...

Our experiences recently.

Do NOT purchase any of their Kobalt or EGO power.

I went I to the Sudbury store in August to look for a replacement belt for a Kobalt snowthrower. I was told: " I dunno. Try the customer service. We don't know anything about replacement parts"

So now, I have been trying to deal with customer service for the past 3 months to get a replacement belt for a Kobalt snowthrower.
I requested information on where to buy one, they insisted that I show proof of purchase for warranty. I showed them proof of purchase they then told me there aren't any available and that they would contact the manufacturer.

3ish months later I reach out to them again as I had not recieved any updates. They apologized for not getting back and apologized that the belt only had a 90 warranty and it is out side of that.

I don't care about the warranty, I want to know where I can buy a replacement belt, like I initially asked. Their response was, we will reach out to the manufacturer.

Unrelated to the Snow thrower:
My wife and I have finished renovations on a house. My wife REFUSES to go to Rona+ here is Sudbury

The customer service sucks.

My wife went in to pick up up some flooring supplies. She was looking for something specific. There were 3 guys standing around. Actually, 1 was stocking the shelf and the other 2 were watching. She approached them and asked for some help locating said product or if there was a different/better solution to our problem. One guy pointed to an aisle and said something to the effect of " Down there".

Not only did she not find the product. When she went back she talked to the same 3 guys who were laughing and telling interesting stories, she was told something to the effect again of " that's what we got lady".

She finally found someone who took the time to help her find what she was looking for, showed her everything that was needed and took the time to explain the process. Do you know where she found that helpful individual? HOME DEPOT.

Thanks Rona+, you have never been less helpful.

If I could give this store zero stars I would.

I didn’t know you needed some kind of qualification to help someone out but here we are.

And since when do we start working - excuse me I mean walking in groups while “working” and avoiding customers? Is this the new work ethic? If so, there's a massive turn over that needs to be done. This is not pre-school, you don't need to hold your buddy’s hand.

This is the 3rd time in the past 2 months we have come into this store and had extremely poor customer service.
We couldn't find a representative for the department so went looking for a worker in a different department to page someone.
Finally found someone, they paged, we waited almost 30 minutes. Went back, she paged again, we waited another 15 minutes, no one came. Another worker going by, tried to help at that point and when we told him what we were needing ro know, he apologized and explained that it wasn't his department and he couldn't even look it up on the computer as their wifi was down.
Same type of customer service as last 2 times we were there!
Will be spending all our reno dollars elsewhere

Words are just words.. You have said you will do better for months according to the other reviews I have since read.
Actions make the difference!
We live 3 hours away, have given your store at least 3 chances. As stated before, you won't be getting our renovation dollars, someone with better customer service will

If I could give 0 stars I would.

Poor customer service.

Purchased an appliance, told it was in stock, and would be delivered within 3 days.

on day of delivery did not receive any phone calls.

have to find out myself that the item was no longer in stock.

customer service was very unhelpful to resolve the issue.

the manager in the appliance area was not helpful either.

would not recommend anybody purchasing any items from this store.
