Today, it was suggested by my dealership (as my warranty had just ended a month ago) that I go see John at 1st Rate Auto regarding my rear window on my 2019 Nissan Frontier. When I arrived, I explained my situation to John. I told him that I noticed my rear window was not attached on the left hand side of my truck. After coming out to look at my window, John said that he couldn't let me drive away knowing that my rear window was detaching and could essentially come out at any time while driving. John had his son come out for a second opinion. They immediately took my truck to the back to get my window fixed. After further inspection (and actually bringing the window out to me), it was determined that no primer was put on my window before the initial installation. John and staff went above and beyond to help me out today. They dropped everything to ensure my safety and the safety of others. Thank you John and staff for taking such great care of my situation and for getting me back on the road safely. Your kindness and caring nature was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for auto glass work! Their service was outstanding! I look forward to my new windshield installation in the near future.

By far the friendliest staff and very efficient services! Unfortunately they were unable to fix the chips in my windshield completely (which was partially my fault in delaying to make an appointment), but the cracks are significantly better than before. Due to the inconvenience, my appointment was free! I will definitely be returning when needed. I recommend this place 🙂

I had a serious crack in the windshield from road debris immediately before the winter, while I needed to travel back and forth to Toronto from Sudbury on a continued weekly basis for a family medical emergency.

1st Rate replaced my windshield in just 48 hours even though they had a full schedule, fitting me in with no notice. I dropped the car off in the afternoon as agreed and they did stellar work in only about an hour, it's just like new. The cost was extremely reasonable.
