Service was non existent at 8:45 a.m. I entered Paisley Freshmart to see three employees discussing a front of store display. Not one of them acknowledged me. I collected a few items and returned to the check out area only to see the three employees walking to the rear of the store. I rung the bell and waited to no avail. I could see an employee in the meat section and another in the prepared food section ignoring the bell as well. I rang the bell again and waited. I then heard uproarious laughter from the back of the store. No one came to serve me. I left. Perhaps the store should open at 9 a.m. if their staff isn't available for service before then. I like to support local stores but this experience was very disappointing and left me not wanting to return.

Totally appalled... not by the staff but I later found out with the owner of this store that they do not respect, appreciate or accept service animals. My fiancé and myself walked into this store and we're not greeted but almost yelled at by my understand the owner about why our animal was in her store... then walked away and hid in the back room until we left the store. Needless to say we did not and will no longer be making any purchases at this location ever again. We will be traveling now to Port Elgin as we usually do to do our shopping at our favorite Vanderworth's Independent! As we are not glared at for having an emotional support animal for my soon to be husband's social autism and anxiety!

My mom and I have stopped in here a few times when we've gone through Paisley. It so gives small town vibes, and we love it. The people who work there are super friendly, and there's always smiles and jokes. We live in a small town our selves and so we love going here to see different products compared to our two stores. I highly recommend going here, it's a very homey feeling as soon as you park your car.

Great little spot for all your necessary items. Bakery is top notch, meat department has local meats and very tasty. Deli counter has some great selections with wing night and different dinner options fresh or on the go.

Great people and great selection! Prices are a bit higher than grocery stores in bigger towns, but you couldn't drive elsewhere for the difference. Super glad to have this grocery store in Paisley.

Friendliest staff around! Anyone heading to the beach for the day or weekend should definitely stop in. Small town vibes close to your destination. Your last minute eats are ready for you picnic in the sand without the chaos of the beach town grocery experience.

excellent service with a nice small town feel. Prices are sort of all over the map - some super high and others seem low - a bit strange if you ask me. But I love the small town feel and service. They also have some local product.

Super friendly staff who are eager to help. Awesome lunch and dinner specials for when you don’t have time to cook. The donuts are also amazing you’ll never be disappointed.
