Julie replaced the zipper on my winter jacket and did a flawless job, better than the original it came with. She was very knowledgable and I got it back even quicker than she estimated. I felt at ease as soon as I visited the shop, she is so friendly and I received excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend trusting her with your alteration needs!

Retro Runway Fashions is a hidden gem in Wolfville! If you take a break from Main street and pop around the corner, you'll find Julie's wonderful shop. I originally came across this store after Googling clothing repair in the area because I had a pair of Jeans that needed to be fixed (torn where the pant legs met). Julie is quite literally one of the friendliest people I've met, and was a huge help. She quickly repaired my jeans and I was able to pick them up quite soon after dropping them off. She also went the extra mile to take my number down to contact me when she gets in some new sunglasses I was interested in. The selection of clothing is fantastic too! Long story short: check this place out!

Glad that this place was open on a Saturday. While on vacation my ball cap strap decided it no longest wanted to be attached. Julie camé to the rescue and did the repair while I waited. Can't ask for more than that! Now I don't need to buy a new hat for my hard to fit head. Woo hoo!

Excellent little place offering both a cool selection of vintage clothing and the rare trade of tailoring. Ran by the sweetest person ever who patiently ran a bunch of diagnostics on my malfunctioning zipper on my vintage leather jacket, eventually ordered in a new zipper to match.

Julie is a superb seamstress. I went in with a silk dress that was too long for me. I needed it done same day and she came through with speed! She got right to it and I picked it up so much quicker than expected. And she did an absolutely PERFECT job. Silk isn’t easy to work with so I’m very impressed with Julie. I brought a Lulu Lemon Commission Button Down shirt which the sleeves were slightly too long. This material is not typical and it was the first time Julie worked with this specific material. Not only did she have the shirt done by the next day, but she absolutely did an AMAZING job. The shirt fits perfectly and will look amazing at the wedding I will be attending. Her store is awesome as well! Huge selection of very unique items. If you live in the valley there really isn’t anywhere else you need to bring your clothes. Trust me.
