This is my go to place for meat. I love their steaks, particularly the striploins. Fish is also always good. Good sales. Fruits and veggies are on point too. I like that its a small store and I can get in and out there quickly, even if its busy. Their pizza dough is a hidden gem. So is their pizza.

This was the first time I visited the store and it was okay. It was busier than anticipated, which usually means that quality of items sold and/or their value is good.
In general store was well-organized, clean, and tidy; albeit aisles being a bit too cozy for two people walking past each other comfortably. Staff were friendly, considerate, and helpful. All the cashiers were present and working efficiently and effectively.
Produce looked fresh and great. I was interested in their flyer deal for Lean Ground Beef and while I found plenty of it well packed and ready in the fridge.
However, the quality of it left a lot to be desired. I bought three one pound packages and all looked pink and great in store. Upon unpacking them though, they were all brown-ish and not that great looking an hour later. They also felt noticeably less lean than alternatives in Longo's, Metro, and Costco.

My first experience here was wonderful. Staff was very quick to assist, very friendly. I had no trouble finding anything. Very clean and organize. All produce was very fresh and relatively affordable.

Visited this grocery once upon a time on a friend’s reference. Overall, there are peculiar and rare products there that I didn’t see in other stores.
However, even regular products (e.g. Gay Lee Sour Cream) are at least 30% higher than a regular price.
Bakery there is of a high quality. Meat and fish is considered to be better than in other stores, but the prices are at least 50% higher.

Who wants bloodclots and oxidized fat in your coldcuts?

The deli counter is useless when it comes to slicing and packaging coldcuts. They don’t trim off the inedible parts of the super-expensive prosciutto di parma, for example, which is really disgusting. (The manager actually told me to my face that they sell it without trimming first, unlike literally every other deli counter on earth.) And when they cut mortadella, the slices are of uneven thickness and are otherwise shredded.

I lived in Thornhill for the past 48 years and I’m been doing my grocery shopping for many, many years at Concord Food Centre
( Greco) but never had an a very unpleasant experience like today, while I was paying for the groceries I asked the cashier if I could pay for an slice of pizza before ordering, the cashier was very friendly and said sure you can do that.
Therefore I approached the pizza counter and I asked the lovely young lady for the slice of pizza and I also told her that I paid for it and showed her the bill, she took a look at it and she was getting my order ready, unfortunately another woman came running to the counter and shouted at the cashier if I paid for the pizza, when I told her that I have the bill and I showed the other attendant, she said I need to see it, but that wasn’t the end of anything she turned around and started scolding the young attendant and telling her did you read the bill did you look at it properly, and went on on telling her that she seem her doing the same thing many times in front of customers, that was very ignorant, nobody has the right to talk to a fellow coworker like that. I feel management should be aware of these incidents, because not every is shoplifter or a thieve, specially seniors, her obnoxious and rude manner made me feel uncomfortable, I went there to buy food and I did not have to be embarrassed or questioned for my actions, I do understand that now a days, there are non desirable customers in the stores but I also feel that before reacting there are many polite ways to ask a customer for the bill.
I will share my experience with the people in my neighborhood, so they can be aware that some employees treat customers as thieves.
I worked at Mackenzie Health Hospital for 35+ years and we were trained to provided the best service and attention to our clients
The golden rule was customer satisfaction is number one all the time.
Hopefully someone will read my review and do something about it.

Fruits and the meat are the best. Prices are too high, specially after covid. Staffs are so stoic!
