Great nostalgic location that is a must-visit as a destination or just driving through. Everywhere I turned, I saw a candy that reminded me of my parents or my friends from elementary days. There is a candy or chocolate to tickle every fancy. I'm always a glutton for Aussie licorice. There are interesting finds like white chocolate covered gummy bears and candy coated sunflower seeds. There are various fans/bottles of pop with unique flavors. After grabbing our treats, we went down the street for dinner then doubled back for dessert ... ice cream! The staff remembered us and welcomed us with open arms. A single scoop is $6. Upgrade to a waffle cone for $1 or a gourmet waffle cone (with chocolate or sprinkles) for $2. Even the ice cream tokens are vibrant and colorful! Don't forget to look up ... they have a vintage stash of collectibles including a massive collection of M&M memorabilia in the rafters. There's even a section of sugar free candy for diabetics. Pop in for a minute, and get lost in time!

if you love candy and antique and vintage items this is the place to go they have a wide variety of candy and drinks to chose from.they have ice cream too. they have unique and vintage item they are selling they sell also puzzle and card games too the staff are nice and friendly too they have nice fudges flavor too rich and creamy and sweet too nice place to drive for a good experience

A place to stop with your family! Chock full of nostalgic items, including candy and collectibles. Plenty of games/activities for the kids in the car.

The silver "fill your own bags" from the silver bins was a favorite of my family.

Good selection of candy. It was CRAZY busy when we went. However, we were there on a weekend. I think staff need to do something to try to control the crowd. Maybe a better set up for the line up and limiting how many people at a time? People weren't lining up properly, and people were getting so pushy, inpatient, and budging. It was so busy and crazy we had to leave. We will go back on a weekday when it's hopefully not as busy. Staff was very friendly.

I absolutely love this place! All sorts of delicious candy, ice cream, fudge, chocolate, and snacks! Fantastic ice cream choices from foothills creamery and some incredible nostalgic collectibles and knick knacks! Even if you're not after some sweets, they have plenty of other items like new board games, kids' toys, and antiques! Don't pass this place by on your way through Nanton!

A childhood dream.
Passing through Nanton last Sunday June 23 en route to Calgary, I heard about a famous local candy shop so I had to check it out. The selection was breathtaking. One major detail you cannot overlook is how things are organized. Despite how wall-to-wall densely packed the place is (with every flavour of everything) it's organized in such a way that makes intuitive sense. Despite being my first time visiting, I very quickly got a sense of where things were. Furthermore, the staff were so lovely and kind; it felt like I was chatting with some old neighbours that I'd known for years. Smiles all around.
They even sell ice cream! I didn't know this until the young lady at the register asked me if I'd like some. To which I responded, "tempting, but I'm gonna have to resist!" using up all the self-control I had left.

This place is a mix of a candy store, ice cream shop, and trinket shop. They have lots of candy and chocolate options. I wish they had more Marzipan though, it's my favourite! Overall, good candy shop. We usually stop by when we are passing through the area.
