Great little caming spot. Be warned ⚠️ THERE IS BEARS 🐻!!! I saw one rummage through a few campers' stuff that was left out! The staff was very kind and polite, so thank you all very much! We had a great time. There is Small Mouth Bass and perch in the lake for anyone curious, black and purple leaches work the best! Camp sites are "quite small" they are right next to one another, so no privacy. Lots of kids, so drive slow! Great spot for a weekend. We will definitely be back again. The only downside is the chronic smell of weed and cigarettes 🚬. So if you have kids be warned your neibor in the campsite 5ft over can light up and their is no designated smoking area. Other than that Great place! Thanks again to all the staff members 😀 🙏

We have been coming here for 35 years. The current management are friendly, caring, and accommodating. Renovations and upkeep have been fantastic. Once you step through the breezeway onto the grass and beach, it’s like nothing else!!! Jo and Keith continue to do an amazing job! Thank you!!

Can't recommend this lodge highly enough! The imposing view of the mountainside is spectacular, and this has to be the best swimming lake in the Okanagan Valley. Such a convenient spot with well-appointed rooms. Joanne and Keith are always so helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to next time 🙂

Our family stayed at The Lodge last year and had the most wonderful time, the location and all the water activities available make it such a little gem. We booked again to stay this year and unfortunately had to cancel last minute due to not being able to get there because of a wildfire and the managers were so understanding and kind. We can't wait to visit again in the coming years!

I visited this lodge the weekend as a party of 4. The lodge came with complimentary coffee (very much appreciated), and available hot water, towels and barbecue. The lake nearby is great for a swim, and there's kayaks and boards nearby for use. It seemed well worth the price for lodging, and perfect for a getaway

We had a family wedding to attend and rented a number of rooms in the lodge. The rooms were clean and offered everything one might need for an overnight or prolonged stay. The proprietors were very understanding when we chose to sit outside and visit fairly late. The lake was lovely to swim in, and the various watercraft available were enjoyed by all.

I would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a hidden gem that is reasonably priced to rent.

I would definitely stay there again.

This place has a lot of history, and many families have been coming for years. It was sad to see the place going downhill, but I'm so happy to see it all being turned around again. The new owners clearly are working hard and over time I think they will do right by this lovely spot. ||||We stayed in a renovated unit and it's clear it's been done thoughtfully and with care. The beds are so much more comfortable, the rooms are kept clean and even though we had one of the darker rooms under the deck the room never felt dim. The housekeeper was friendly and helpful and the front desk staff were all great, couldn't ask for better. ||||It's such a lovely spot, I hope they are able to make a go of it and get the rest of the units done. It would be nice if the place keeps that fairly simple, slightly rustic but clean atmosphere, but if they end up making it a little more upscale I think we'd still be back - for the lake, the bluff, the birds, the bats, and the very welcoming staff.||||Oh wifi was excellent, better than many high end hotels we've stayed in.

We booked a two night stay with two other families at the Lodge. I had already scouted out the lodge on Facebook so I knew that the rooms were slowly being renovated and I did not expect to stay in a "fancy" hotel, I was looking for a great place to unwind with my family and to create some memories with my friends and their children - The Lodge did not disappoint. ||||As soon as we arrived and looked out the back balcony my children rushed down to the water, put their life jackets on (or ones that were available from the Lodge) and hopped on a boat. The Lodge provides, free of charge or booking, paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boats, canoes, floating toys - almost anything you would need for a fun family get away on a little lake! There is also a playground, green space, lawn games and propane fire pits for guests' use.||||The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was even given a complementary bottle of wine and a card for my birthday! The upper floor rooms do not have a separate kitchen but do have a large "real" fridge, toaster, kettle, convection oven, dishes, and a bbq on the balcony. We were easily able to prepare dinners for 13 people with the items provided. I would say that the Lodge is "thoughtfully" stocked for their guests and their needs. ||||The beds and bedding were comfortable and the rooms and grounds were clean and well manicured. The only downfall is that the room we stayed in was a bit small for our family but this did not effect our stay as we were outside all day and for most of the evening.||||I would very much recommend the Lodge and in fact my party is planning to visit again next year for a longer stay!
