Purple Pony is a very cute little ice cream shop with lots of flavors to choose from. And, the portion size is generous. Loved the cute outdoor seating area, particularly nice for a summer afternoon / evening. The long queue kind of explains the popularity of the place among the locals.

Just calling out the last time I got ice cream here with my daughter on their opening weekend in May. One kiddie cup of ice cream and a single scoop cup (more like a micro scoop) was $13.55 and they ask for tip. Also it’s just Kawartha dairy ice cream. What in gods name? Recommend going to Capri down the road and you get overfilling cups/cones for less than $5 of delicious gelato.

Found only limited amount of flavours on display, ordered one scoop of Rum & Raisins and got small and half melted cup of ice cream, which didn’t impress. Also, the girls at the shop look like they would prefer to be somewhere else at the moment. Doesn’t worth the drive.

Almost $13 for two kiddie scoops which are 1/2 a scoop each. So $13 for a single scoop of ice cream. What a joke!

Cutest little ice cream shop with ice cream from a local Ontario producer that is so delicious even the doggies love it. They have a couple flavors in the back too; the salted caramel truffle is nom nom worthy! Friendly service too 🍦🍦🍦
