Getting a puppy from Wagging Heart Kennels in January 2017 and I couldn't be more excited! Went and visited the kennels this month and they were immaculate, and spacious.

Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy, happy, well tempered Goldendoodle puppy.

My experience with this breeder was quite disappointing. We purchased an older dog (1.5yrs) earlier this year. During her spay, a significant medical issue was discovered, one that is mentioned as covered under the breeders ‘health guarantee’. It was diagnosed via x-ray by the vet performing the spay, and then confirmed by a second medical professional at my request. When this information was presented to the breeder (after 3 months of no response) we were asked to get another opinion via another x-ray from their vet, who is over an hr away, at our expense. While the right to a second opinion is stated in the ‘guarantee’, I found this to be extremely unnecessary as we already had an x-ray and 2 professional opinions (as my vet said, an x-ray is an x-ray). I also did not want to put my dog, who is anxious/fearful, through another procedure at an unknown vet. In the end it was my choice to not pursue this, as I couldn’t guarantee the time and further expenses on my part would lead to a resolution in my favour.

If you are considering purchasing from this breeder, don’t let the promise of a ‘health guarantee’ comfort you in any way as there are several clauses that they can use to get out of their promises (including keeping the dogs on their vitamins for 2 years). If you are considering purchasing an older dog, I also suggest you are an experienced dog owner and able/willing to deal with possible behavioural issues from them not being in a normal home setting.

For the record, I am not suggesting that this breeders dogs have medical issues - no amount of genetic testing can 100% guarantee that puppies will be perfectly healthy. I think we just had bad luck with ours and I assume that we we are in the very small minority.

We had an amazing experience getting our first dog. Shelley prepared us with information which made the transition for our puppy to his new home very easy. We were able to ask questions about food, vitamins, training ect. We love our goldendoodle.

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my experience at Wagging Heart Kennels. Despite the clearly stated terms in the guarantee we signed, which mandates that dogs must be returned to the kennel for rehoming if the buyer can no longer provide adequate care, the breeder outright refused to honor this commitment. Currently facing a unique family situation that prevents us from providing the necessary care for our dog, we reached out for their support, only to be met with a complete lack of assistance. Furthermore, the owner's behavior was shockingly disrespectful; ending our call abruptly without any valid justification.

For those considering this breeder, be warned: you may very well encounter severely poor customer service and find your contractual agreements disregarded. Shop wisely.

Shelley was very helpful and professional. A true expert in golden doodles. We picked up our mini golden doodle and were impressed with the facility. It was clean, organized with plenty of lush green grass for puppies and dogs to play. We are very happy with our puppy. He is absolutely beautiful and has a wonderful temperament- a testament to their commitment to breeding happy and healthy dogs. Highly recommend!

Our experience with Shelley has been truly incredible. Shelley was so understanding, gracious and kind. We entrusted her with one of our most important decisions, and she is completely trustworthy. She loves her dogs, and their babies. And that love and care transcends into the precious puppies who come home to families needing that love.

Good breeder. We got a beautiful puppy from here. They used to train their own puppies. They now outsource to a trainer in Innisfil. Their 3 month training program over promises and under delivers. After 3 months of Erika's training our dog was not crate trained, partially potty trained, he only responded to food lures and he could not leash walk. Get your dog from here but find a reputable professional trainer that will address your concerns. We had to hire another trainer after having paid for the 3 months of training. The breeder just sided with her trainer and wanted nothing to do with our complaints. Shelley insisted her trainer did a good job even though she sent our puppy off to training at 10 weeks and never saw him again. Did she really think her trainer was going to tell her that the puppy was only partially trained and that she didn't do the job she paid her to do? Great dog but the training is overpriced and not worth the money we paid.

I wasn't able to get a puppy in the end due to my personal circumstances but Shelley was very understanding and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She answered every one of my questions and was a pleasure. I'd definitely be happy to have a puppy in the future from Wagging Heart Kennels.
