Golden Silk has very unique pieces, whereas other places I’ve been to they have the same designs but here you will find a one of a kind design. I loved the variety of collection they had, Neelam was amazing. She was honest when it came to what outfits would look good for my cousin’s events and was very patient when it came to making sure all my outfits were as I wanted. Great service and very professional. I would highly recommend this store to my family and friends.

I had the best experience purchasing my engagement lengha from Golden silk outlet. Mr. Singh and his wife go out of their way to ensure that you are completely comfortable and happy with your purchase.

My lengha needed some alterations done and they were able to fit it perfectly. I am so happy with how it turned out and cannot wait to do my bridal shopping for my wedding here next year.

Prices considering it’s Bridal wear are also very reasonable. Outfits are made on good quality fabric and the embroidery/stonework is stunning. The outfits in the boutique are up to date with current trends in bridal wear. I would highly recommend checking them out for your wedding shopping!

I had an amazing experience with Golden Silk for purchasing an Indowestern for my Sangeet, and Sherwani for my wedding. The quality of the clothing was impeccable, they looked great, were tailored perfectly and arrived before time.

In addition, the love and care that Mr. Singh and Ms. Neelam provided during the process was the defining factor in my experience. They left no stone unturned in making sure I got exactly what I wanted.

If you are planning on going to this store or have been convinced by the lady at the store to buy something, please stop and read my review first.

The lady does not care about you and how things look on you, or the quality of the clothes she sells. She only cares about the money. She will make it seem like she has knowledge, but really she is just applying dirty sales tactics.

I bought clothing from this store. What we didn’t notice at the store was the extremely bad quality of the clothes. We were given false information about what could be altered and the price of the alteration (both of which influenced my decision to buy). Of course by the time it was time to alter, half the things could not be done and the price was twice as much what was originally quoted. It was infuriating. I went to a different tailor after getting my item “altered” from here and was immediately told that what I needed done was absolutely possible.

It’s easy to get sucked into the sales tactic of the lady at this store, but please please take my advice and spend your money elsewhere. It is so so not worth it. I wish this review was written before I stepped foot into this store.

This was my worst shopping experience ever. I simply went into this store looking for an outfit. The lady who owns the store decided to bring up religion, since I was getting married and having a Sikh wedding. I did not bring up the topic of religion, and had no interest in discussing religion. I was just there to do some shopping and inquire about outfits. The lady who owns this store began a very disrespectful and discriminatory talk about Sikhi. She went on for about 10 minutes. I was so taken aback and uncomfortable, I didn't know what to say. At some point I decided to speak up. I thought I would try to explain to her on the importance of some of the Sikhi practices, especially those in the Gurudwara, which she thought was not important. She was not understanding or open to hearing what I said. She then continued to say discriminatory and disrespectful things about Sikhi, and trying to argue with me. Over the last 2 days I have visited many clothing stores owned by Hindus and Sikhs, and no else reacted like this. Her customer service was very unprofessional. She didn't even spend much time discussing outfits. Instead, she went on a rant about her personal opinions of what is considered "religious" and on Sikhi. This left me feeling very upset, and I felt I should share my experience. This was completely unexpected and out-of-nowhere, when you are just a customer shopping. I hope no one else has to experience such disrespect. I will definitely never visit this store again.

We recently went to Golden Silk to custom ordered my husband's sherwani for our wedding ceremony. I was a bit apprehensive at first when they required the full payment upfront, but the owners were incredibly patient and reassuring. The order came within less than 3 months and fit perfectly! Not only did it look amazing - the price was very reasonable and everyone at the shop was very easy to work with when we wanted to make certain changes. Would definitely go back and highly recommend!
