Good varieties and has a delicious store inside as well that serves hot food! 2 varieties for the soup of the day and deli sandwiches that they warm up and feel like food for the cold soul 😋 They also have a small area to eat in, or you can grab and go. Price wise, affordable and serving size for the sandwich is enough for me to share with my kids. Area is walkable within paid parking spot.

Deli: Delicious sandwiches and friendly staff. We tried the grilled vegetable panini and brie with cranberry chicken. Both were delicious. Pricier than a regular cellophane wrapped grocery sandwich, but well worth it if you enjoy food.
Store: The rest of the store looks clean and organized with a good selection of things you would need when visiting. Given the location, it's very convenient downtown, but admittedly pricier too given that and the fact that it's carries more unique items.

Rusticana is basically a high-end convenience store. They have an impressive variety of interesting products, including lots from small local suppliers. You’ll also find organic, gluten-free, and specialty items. It’s really a cool spot.

Yeah, the prices might seem high, but honestly, most of what they sell is premium quality, so I think the prices are fair for what you get.

It’s a great alternative if you don’t feel like driving across town to go to Valbella. They carry quite a few Valbella products, not everything, but a good selection.

So yeah, it’s super convenient that way.

We needed a couple of sandwiches for a day drive along the Icefields Parkway. I picked the Italian sandwich and it was easily the best Italian sandwich I have had. It was so good. My partner got one of the vegetable ones and really liked it too. Highly recommend if you are in need of a sandwich. We paid around $18 American and felt it was very reasonable for what you get.

Went to Canmore during Thanksgiving weekend and went inside this Grocery to grab something. The lady at the counter was watching on her phone and seems like somehow irritated that we interrupted her Marathon/watching because we're buying 🤷🏻‍♀️ sorry but I find it rude.

Best sandwiches in the downtown area but....

At over $15 now, they have raised the price to beyond my budget. Just as Bella Crusta did, they are pricing themselves out for the locals.

Awesome local grocer/corner store. They carry allot of locally made products like soaps and baked goods. Bought a fabulous Egyptian sour dough loaf and herb and cheese focaccia buns made by the Uprising bakery. Best focaccia I've ever had! It was amazingly savoury and chewy. Highly recommended stopping in Rusticana for a treat! Check out their freezer for a nice selection of locally made vegan soups and meat pies from Vallbella or a wholesome vegan meal from An Edible life eatery.
