Lovely little shop! Aussie lady was very warm and accommodating, she’s very sweet and helpful, sorry i forgot your name. My wife got 2 sunglasses and i got the lotion. Go swing by and pick up a few locally made products!

Just got my secret Santa gifts there. They have a lot of cool candles, socks and earrings.
Staff is super nice. Had to return one item and there was no problem at all.
The only thing I don't like about this place are prices ...

What a lovely little store! Stumbled upon it while recently in Canmore, and I loved it so much I went back the next day. Loved that most of the products were from local vendors and artists, and loved the selection of BlueQ socks which I can't seem to find anywhere except online! Bought myself the cutest little ring shaped like the mountains, and the girl working on both nights I was there was such a delight (my only regret is not getting her name so I can properly thank her in this review). Great customer service, and so nice and friendly. Will definitely pop by again next time Im back in Canmore.

Mountain Mercantile is one of my favourite gift shops in Canmore.

They have a variety of local and handmade items and lots of mountain inspired products. I have purchased stickers, a keychain, soap, earrings and mountain wood decor pieces from here.

Would highly recommend if you're looking for a unique gift to bring home from the mountains.

I would definitely call and check the hours before heading to this shop. Google says they are open until 9pm, but due to covid they may have reduced Hours. We showed up at 8 and the doors were locked and the staff were sweeping and closing the till. This may be due to covid. It would be helpful for owners to change the times open if reduced hours is the case during the pandemic, as 9pm isn’t correct from what I’ve experienced. For this reason, I have given a 1 star rating. If we are able to head there during open hours and have a better experience, I will change my rating.
