I question their honesty they just lost all my business because of the owners sister
I’m doing a big cleanup job and will be taking all 20,000lbs of aluminum elsewhere
Plus they don’t have a digital read out on their scale so you just have to take their word for it
Took in less aluminum to another place and got paid double what shelbourne iron and metal gave us
The picture is just one of the 5 loads of just aluminum
We also have copper,brass,stainless and mild steel
Shelburne paid us $0.40
Elsewhere paid us $0.75

Shelburne took the aluminum called us thieves and went through it without us

Elsewhere never gave us attitude and was able to see on the scale what it weighed

100% the owner’s sisters attitude and accusations towards us that made my decision to never deal with them ever again or any other company that they are affiliated with and after talking to other people about our experience with her we are not the only ones
The rest of the staff were great and if she just kept her yap shut we would still be going there because we wouldn’t of known any better

I used to take all my scrap elsewhere. Since the first time going to Shelburne Iron & Metal with a load of scrap, I will not go anywhere else. You get treated like a person here. The last place I used to go to, they treat you like just another number. Shelburne has great staff and they are very friendly.

Great place to get rid of your old car. Don't come if you are in a hurry. They are busy and they are slow. But if it's worthless junk to you they have 300 dollars to help pay for the beer.

Easy simple experience I had...drove up to office and asked how to go about the small bins of copper I had, was directed around back to scale in shop, weighed up my copper and I left with cash in hand, 4.60 for bare copper not bad to me
