Amazing little motel.
The owners were super friendly and helpful upon arrival.
The rooms are perfect. Super clean and fresh and awesome bed.
I highly recommend this location too the fullest.

This place is like a cozy cottage with all the motherly comforts, a full kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave and fully supplied with all the pots and pans, plates cups/glasses, just everything. Bathroom is stocked with bottles of shampoo/conditioner in case you did not bring your own and more and more. Very home like feeling. The staff were very friendly and you felt welcomed immediately. It is a very clean place. I don't give reviews but very rarely in life, but I just had too take a little time to show that this place has a very hard and dedicated staff that take pride in their business. Thank you Southview Motel. You deserve the 5 stars. Your labour is our rest. Cheers!

We received a lovely room with a fully stocked kitchenette--pots, pans, utensils etc. The bathroom even came equipped with toothbrushes and paste, something I have yet to come across in other motels (and I've stayed in quite a few 😁).

Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Great Wi-Fi and TV reception. Non-smoking room, but the balcony furnished with seats was nice.

Great room! Would definitely stay again 🙂

Little to no customer service, unless the man that manages the place threatening to call the RCMP because of needing an extra key or not paying 2 or more nights in advance, is considered quality service at motels these days. 80$ a night or 500$ a week if paid up front. I wouldnt plan to stay at this motel again, not for top prices in the range these rooms fall under. And not to be talked to like i should feel blessed to set foot on the property. Plus side some rooms have stoves and cookware, only a few. Another plus, rooms are cleaner then u think check in.

A really nice lady runs it. Although it was near full occupancy it was quiet. The room is stocked with whatever they can think of that might come in handy. Apartment-sized fridge, not a mini fridge. Although I didn't have a kitchenette there were lots of utensils etc. Concrete walls etc so definitely not a fire trap. Convenient location and good value. Looking forward to my next visit.

Bed was comfy, room had character. Some noise from neighbours, vehicles etc. Broken flooring in kitchen, the room smelled like smoke (the TV remote was particularly bad, I put it in a drawer). Good value for the $ though.

This motel has renovated kitchenettes that make you feel like you are in a cozy cabin and the owners are the most amazing couple I have ever met. I travel for work and stay in hotels regularly but in 20 years of travel this place is a first. The service is outstanding, the price is great and the rooms are stocked with everything a traveler needs. Rarely do kitchenettes come equipped with everything. I cant say enough about this place and the couple who own it. I highly recommend the Southview Motel to anyone traveling through or staying for a while.

Yes. I did give this place a five star. I love the service. The owners are the kindest and most pleasant to speak with. Every day I stayed there my place was clean. They even washed my dirty dishes. The rooms are cozy and have plenty of character. I enjoy this place I keep coming back. And again can't beat the service.
