A real variety store with a bit of everything at discount prices. Mostly housewares, decorative stuff, a bit of clothing, some appliances and furniture, a few TVs, several racks of clothing, and some grocery and food items. Employees were nice and conscientious. Over a decent place although finding exactly what you want is a matter of serendipity.

Great prices, a wide and changing selection, and great customer service. One of the few places in Kamloops that still seems to care about the customers. Its clean, organized and well stocked, with low prices, what more could ya need?

On Friday, April 11, I witnessed a "store policy" being enforced where students were made to wait outside while other customers were allowed to enter and shop freely. This practice targets individuals based on their status as students and age, which is both discriminatory and unacceptable.

Discrimination based on age, perceived student status, or any non-behavioral factor is not only ethically wrong but can also be a violation of consumer rights. If your store has a policy regarding entry or crowd control, it should be applied equally and fairly to all customers—without targeting a specific group.

I urge your management team to review this policy and ensure that your practices are inclusive, respectful, and non-discriminatory. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and respond with details on how this issue will be addressed moving forward. Making students or younger people wait outside the store while others are free to shop is discrimination.

A complaint will be filled promptly with BC Human Rights Tribunal!
