The store is rightly defined by the owner. Under Jason's recommendations I've come to find my favorite authors. I may have missed Burrough's drug fueled obscenities and McCarthy's wild uncompromising westerns if I hadn't stopped into this amazing store. Thanks again!

Great selection of older and newer books. Would be a great place to spend some time looking for older hard to come by books. Owner was super nice and very knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend if you are trying to find a good read.

would be nice if they were open when they say they are, comming out from another town and finding it closed more then once when it states on the door it should be open. disappointing.

Stopped by with the intention of finding some new books, and The Book Place far exceeded all of my expectations. I selected 1 book from the front display, and within a few minutes I had 5 books hand-picked by the store owner (all of which were of interest to me and matched the "themes" of my initial selection). I will be back again once I've read this batch of books, and I would highly recommend visiting The Book Place before looking for reading material anywhere else.

It's been awhile since I've walked in to a place and felt magic. This store is full to the ceiling of such a huge selection of books. I had some spare time to kill and thought I'd bring my 4 and 6 year old boys in. The person there, I believe the owner, was super helpful and chatted with my boys. He made good recommendations and we left with a good selection of books and magazines at a great price. I'm looking forward to spending more time searching for treasures there.

Such a treasure trove of literature and composition of authors. Always find something that peaks one's interest. The owner is very cerebral and is walking wizard of words, a master of the written scrolls, a good guy you can count on.

I have gone to this store many times and it is by far the best second hand book store I have ever been in. The man who runs it is very knowledgeable and has read a huge portion of the books he sells; his recommendations are made with a high degree of accuracy. He sells all sort of fiction, both old and new. He has a bit of non-fiction, but the little bit that he does get in can be gold. Every inch of the store is covered in books. If you love to read, you should at least check this place out.

This is by far my favorite book store. It has a very large selection of books in every genre, and if you can't find what you're looking for Jason will hunt it down for you. The atmosphere is wonderful, with background music and the smells of coffee and books filling the air. It's a great place to find a book, or engage in entertaining discussions with Jason and other patrons. A must visit store when in Kamloops.
