My extended family and I have been long time customers, but our last two visits left me extremely unimpressed with the customer service & management at this store. My 9 year old son worked weekends mowing lawns to save up money for a fishing/hunting backpack that he had spotted at Surplus Herbys. After buying the bag he quickly realized that it was deteriorating on the inside, so we went to return it. The cashier at the time tried to insinuate that we had done something to the backpack to have this occur. After I spent some time insisting this wasn’t the case, the cashier went and checked another of the exact backpack and quickly realized it was happening to all the backpacks and refunded our money via in store credit. Fast forward to today when my family and i went in to use our in store credit for fishing gear. We got to the checkout and the manager proceeded to tell me because their cashier did not give me the proper piece of paper after our return, we would not be able to use our in store credit and didn’t offer any better explanation or solution. I stood around for 20 minutes waiting for the manager to look through the things in the office, she found the proper paper on their end, but would not use that to help me even after checking that the in store credit had not been used by anyone before this. So i left, again with no explanation or solution, just a pointed finger saying “it must be your fault”. I highly recommend spending your money at a tackle store that cares about you as much as they do turning a profit. I would recommend Casting Loops & Flys, i have never had such an experience when shopping there.

The staff is consistently rude, especially the woman at the cashier. She makes no effort to answer even basic questions and seems visibly annoyed when approached. Unfortunately, this kind of attitude makes me not want to return.

This is the go to place for camping and fishing. Trust that the prices are the best around. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and ever present.

Stopped in this location while camping in the area. Large selection of all kinds of supplies. Great prices. We got a few things for our camp site but many other categories of thing are supplied here. Great service and lay out was easy to find things.

A great place for all. It's a great place for cheaper home tools. Awesome fishing section and sometimes you just don't know what will show up on the shelves. It's a positive thing though
