I love this store and have been shopping there for my child since he was born. I can often find brand new items for 1/5 or 1/10th the price or just stuff in good condition. I do not expect to make a bank selling stuff to them, so I don't really get disappointed at what they offer at all. In most cases, I almost break-even and that's great. I do want to recognize Malia on her customer service. I do find that for most of the time the other staff isn't very engaging or knowledgeable. But honestly, I don't need it that much. You show up, find size, and look for what you need. It's not rocket science!

Probably the best location I have been to!
They have a great selection of everything. I also find the items are priced nicely and not gouged/marked up an insane amount. The aisles are wide enough to push a stroller down which is convenient.

There's 2 staff members that are rude. Several time I have taken in items that were in good condition and they have rejected them. Originally I was confused and they explained to me why and it sorta made sense. For example the items being out of season. This time I took in 2 pairs of shoes that were in excellent condition. There was even a pair of shoes with lights that still worked and there were no holes or rivets missing. The laces werent frayed or falling apart. They rejected them and I asked why, they claimed that they were "falling apart" which I honestly couldn't believe they would blatantly lie like that.
The reason why I know now that they are prejudice is because I was literally in the day before and found a pair of high tops that my daughter loved. They were strapped together and clearly for sale but the price sticker was missing. While the super pleasant employee was looking over the shoes she noticed that there were 2 obvious holes in the soles and she gave me the shoes for free. Its one of the reasons why i brought my good quality shoes in the next day. My daughter grew out of them and there was literally nothing wrong with them. Just something wrong with the staff members working that day. They 100% undercut me on the items that they did take and I considered selling the items myself. Overall I don't think I will be bringing in items if those 2 are working. Pictures for proof.

Pretty good selection when buying clothes, though an increasing number of times I have been lacsidasical and realized after the fact that clothes are damaged or stained beyond a good wash - trusting that they had been meticulously selected.
When dropping off clothes I have had a large number rejected for condition or for not being in demand, only to be dropped off a week later by another family member and had them practically all accepted.
These two inconsistencies have made me wary and I will likely not be using this business as frequently or recommending as highly as I had previously.

Great prices and awesome selection but what is with the staff? I've been coming there for years, never a hello, never a thanks for your business or goodbye, never anyone offering to help, they never ask for the phone number for the points system and they never even put the items I'm purchasing in the bags I bring. I've seen so many moms juggling their children and still having to pack up their own purchases because the cashier's are just so lazy and socially unaware. They seem to constantly be hiring people with absolutely zero customer service skills.. it's really awkward.

This place is a waste of time. Don't bring your clothes to sell here. They rip you off and then sell your items for 10× the amount they offer us struggling parents. Id rather just donate to someone in need than to help them scam people.

I stopped going here ages ago due to the continued poor service I received that is similar to others experiences shared in reviews. I thought perhaps over time there’d be some improvements so I went again the other day to sell some items. I walked in with a large box of like-new clothing and as I approached the counter, the woman there literally rolled her eyes and asked if I was dropping off. I replied that I was and after a hard sigh, she said they’re really busy and it’ll be over 4 hours for the sort. I said that it was fine by me as I’m in no rush and she proceeded to log me in. Her attitude still sucked so I asked if I should just come back another time. She appeared to check herself, I guess picking up on my building aggravation at her unjustified treatment and tone, and was overly polite (like sickly sweet) for the rest of the exchange. People have bad days, I get it but still

Upon pickup 5 hours later, I had a friendlier staff member fortunately and although they took most of my items which they offered appropriately $1-2 per item (this seems to be the average from my past experience even if something is new with tags worth over $50 - just as an FYI to potential sellers). Because I didn’t want to deal with bringing everything back and hassle with online, I accepted.
I find that I end up receiving strange comments on the items they don’t accept. Typically saying it’s well loved even if new, it’s too worn, even if they’ve accepted items not as “worn” etc. I recall once I got told a pair of shoes were too worn to accept even though they were brand new, worn inside 1x. I’ve bought shoes there in much “worse” condition. lol
I don’t feel the unsolicited comments are necessary. From my experience they’re always served with a condescending tone. I don’t understand the rationale behind that. Perhaps to I still some shame that you didn’t meet their standards so you will feel privileged to take the low $ they offer you for the things that did make the cut? Who knows đŸ€·â€â™€ïž I always get a bit of a giggle there at least because I find that part amusing. That’s not unique to this location as when I’ve gone to other stores in the lower mainland, it’s the same.

This is a great store. There was such a variety of clothes that our kids absolutely love. There are lots of toys for cheap too! Like LOL dolls or transformers or paw patrol.
