During a recent visit to the Vernon Superstore with my mother, who is over 70, we went through the checkout with two separate orders. Neither of us was asked if we wanted the "Deal of the Week." Afterward, I took my receipt to customer service and mentioned that we hadn't been offered the deal. The lady at the counter immediately called the cashier and asked him if he had offered it. He responded, "Yes." I told her that he did not ask either my mom or me, and we would not both go over to claim the deal. I questioned what she was going to do with the kid's sunscreen. In the end, the lady gave me the bottle, and I reiterated that neither of us was offered the deal and that her associate had lied to her.

This is not the first time I've encountered an associate failing to ask about the deal. Sometimes I take advantage of it, and other times I don’t. If you are going to make this offer, at the very least, you should follow through when someone states it wasn't offered. We spend hundreds of dollars on groceries, and while we could have bought our sunscreen, we appreciated the store's effort to offer a deal. However, I felt frustrated while witnessing the phone call and his lie to the customer service representative while looking directly at me. It's unbelievable.

If you struggle to follow through on your offers, perhaps you shouldn't make them in the first place! This experience reflects poor customer service.

Why is this store so dirty now? Walking through the entrance there was garbage everywhere. Not to mention the salad that got dumped on the floor that was there an hour later. Come on superstore you need to do better!

This place is good to buy all the stuff at one place, we love doing our grocery shopping here and must say that most of the staff that work there are polite and would assist you well. There is a lot of price saving option, you just got to be there when they put up things on sale.

Went to Super Store Vernon today to grab a few items, went to put my grocerys in the cart and the store has these warning lables screwed on the top rack with bolts sticking out and I ripped my arm wide open. Unbelievable why they wouldnt have put safety caps on the ends of the bolts screws. Where is the common sence?

The store itself is great, but I'm so disappointed with the online shopping. This has happened so often, finally a review is due. I specified to please grab the freshest produce online, and beside cucumbers that were bad, I got a bag of apples of which half was rotten!
Super disappointed, I'm not going to use PC online shopping for produce again. I guess nobody will pick the best except yourself. I cannot understand how someone doesn't see something like that. If you try to save time with online orders, it's going to be a waste of time as you will have to return groceries. Do it yourself and save yourself an additional trip.
