We have stayed at several Inns North across the Arctic and they were all clean and well run, but not this one. We were surprised Inns North would allow their brand and reputation to be damaged by the condition of this property. Because there's no manager, cleanliness and basic upkeep and maintenance is lacking. There was some sort of alarm going off the entire time we were there, and a fellow guest it had been the same for a few days already. There's no restaurant in town, but guests here have access to the kitchen themselves to make their own meals, meaning cleanliness is questionable. The kitchen and the hotel overall could use a thorough cleaning and needs many repairs. We did find our two single beds narrow but comfortable, and the A/C worked fine. There was no screen in the window. The condition of the tub surround in the bathroom was horrendous, with big cracks etc. Some light shades were missing. Not the Ritz...

I lived here just because no other choice.
Big rooms big kitchen where we can cook.
It provided wifi but not so fast
Heat system is not that good, I set the highest temperature but still feel a little bit cold.
Bathroom water is warm, not hot.
In this condition I need to pay 208$, way tooooooooo expensive.

Spacious, clean and warm place, easy access to McPherson center, near gas station and supermarket. You can cook and have a coffee maker, fridge and TV in the rooms. I advise you to stop here rather than Eagle Plains where it is very dirty, outdated, no services and for the same price, even if it requires driving longer (outward journey).

They need to tweak the boiler because there was no hot water at night, I had to take the shower in the morning.

Cant be more pricy but you don't have other options if you overnight before Inuvik.
