I can't say enough good things about this FreshCo! The team here is incredible! Always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their work.

Dave runs a fantastic store, and it's clear that his leadership fosters a great work environment. Ethan is an outstanding employee, consistently going above and beyond. And Bill, what a legend! I hope to see him here until the day he decides to retire.

When I talk to employees like Ethan and Bill, it's a perfect example of what a workplace should be. They take just as much pride in the store as Dave does, and it truly shows in their service.

If there's a round of promotions coming up, I'd absolutely vouch for Ethan, Bill, and the blonde lady who’s usually at express checkout, they all deserve it!!

Very Disappointed

I had a very unpleasant experience at Fresco Supercenter around July 11 at approximately 8:56 AM. I went to buy a simple item — a pack of Snickers for $1.68. I had $1.65 in cash with me and politely asked the cashier if that was okay, as it was just 3 cents short.

She immediately refused and said, “No, you must pay the 3 cents.” I explained I didn’t have any more change, but she didn’t care. No understanding, no flexibility — just cold and robotic: “Not my problem.”

So, I was forced to pay the remaining 3 cents by credit card — just for 3 cents. Over a penny per item, the staff and management chose to treat a customer like that.

Shame on the cashier, shame on the management, and shame on the store’s customer service. Is this how you treat people over a few cents? It’s not just about money — it’s about basic respect.

Never shopping here again. Very disappointed.

Good prices. Find the parking lot and the check outs are always a zoo.

I always go for an item or two, but never seem to have express open or they have 2-3 checkouts open so every line if long. So, expect to spend more time standing in line than actually shopping. If you want a quick shopping trip avoid this place.

I suggest hiring more people so you can open more checkouts and take baskets back. Being someone regularly on the job banks I have never seen a job ad. Also paying a living wage for full time employees would help retain them.

I recently purchased a Dr. Scholl's Wart Remover from your store and began using it, unaware that it had expired. The expiration date on this product is quite difficult to notice due to the printing method used. Following a month of usage, my wart condition worsened, leading me to consult a family doctor. He informed me that the product was ineffective, prompting me to inspect it more closely. Upon closer examination, I discovered that it was indeed expired.

I returned to the store to discuss this and spoke with an assistant manager, offering to provide proof of purchase through my credit card and Scene card transactions, since I misplaced the original receipt. However, I was told that without the physical receipt, a refund could not be processed. When escalating the issue to the manager, I was informed that the return policy is limited to 14 days, and since it has been over a month, they were unable to assist further.

I strongly advise checking the expiration dates on products, especially those from the pharmacy section. Based on this experience, I am hesitant to purchase any pharmacy-related items from your store in the future.
Note - 1.if we hold in particular angle then only we can see the Exp date
2. When I went with my concern they was almost 4 pieces of same product with same expired date still on the shelf. assistant manger remove all the before me and took it inside.

By this incident it show how negligence there are with the Pharmacy department.

Freshco as a chain of discount Canadian supermarkets owned by Sobeys, has basically all daily grocery needs. Fresh milk, chocolate, meat, medications, fruits and vegetables just name it. All these and more are available and at a good price too 😊. They also have a pharmacy inside that has a decent supply of medication.
