Exceptional care and compassion! On two separate occasions, the doctors and staff at Brant Family Eye Care went above and beyond after diagnosing serious eye conditions in both of my in-laws. The doctors acted quickly to secure emergency appointments with specialists, ensuring timely treatment.

The staff was equally impressive - they communicated clearly and compassionately, keeping everyone calm during a very stressful time. They patiently navigated language barriers and treated our family with incredible kindness and professionalism.

We are truly grateful for their quick action, empathy, and outstanding service. Highly recommend Brant Family Eye Care to anyone seeking not just expert care, but a team that truly cares.

I had the great pleasure of being introduced to the amazing staff at Brant Family Eye Care - Brantford location - when my diverse needs sister required an eye exam and new glasses. From booking the appointment to her eye exam assessment, to following up with her completed Eyewear purchase; the staff could not have been more helpful, compassionate, respectful, thorough, and professional. My sister loved the experience - which is not usually the case - and any fear that she may have had going into the appointment disappeared after a few minutes of the initial consultation.
She felt valued, respected and cared for.
I do not have enough good things to say about this business and the doctor and staff that we were assisted by. I live an hour out of town, but will be making the drive back to Brantford here to purchase my own glasses when the time arises as I could not be in better hands. Thank you to everyone who works at BFEC - and the booking consultant managing the phones for both locations.

Dr. Harrison is the best!!!
Always very friendly and professional and takes the time to answer all your questions. They have the most recent sought after brands and styles in frames! Staff always friendly and accommodating. Kim helped me pick out frames from the thousands they have on their shelves. She very helpful and didn’t rush me. Brant Family Eye Care is not happy until you are! I highly recommend this business!

This was my first experience at an eye clinic in Brantford. I’m near-sighted and want to get a new pair of glasses so I booked an exam to update my prescription. The online booking feature at Brant Family Eye Care is handy and I got an appointment next day.

The staff are all super friendly and I didn’t have to wait long to see the doctor. However, I’m unsure if I’ll return because I was billed $236 for what felt like a very basic eye exam (I was expecting to pay $90-120 out of pocket- I don’t have vision coverage through insurance). They also tried to sell me eye drops for $60.

I did like the atmosphere and Dr. Masters was pleasant and helpful. I will probably take my kids here while they’re covered under OHIP, but if an eye exam costs that much, I won’t dare try to shop their frames or order contacts through them.

Original post->It’s extremely unprofessional to change my appointment the day of when I’ve had this booked for 6 months now. I received a text msg day of with a different time. When I got here she said it’s not a big deal that I’m early. No I came early for my original appointment so that makes me extra early for the changed time. On top of this they are backed up. She also said there’s no chairs for me and my daughter and I stood there for 25 mins with no acknowledgement then went to the back and saw 6 chairs open. I’ve been bringing my kids here since they were young. It’s unfortunate but I will be finding a different place. Stop over booking and stop wasting peoples time!!!!

Fast, affective, and caring every time I’ve been to this location or the Paris location the service of the staff and doctors has been nothing less than stellar. They all care deeply and are committed to the health of your eyes! The doctors there are also professional and dedicated, I had a stunning experience yesterday with Dr. Matters! I would recommend this place for there amazing services

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed – Misleading and Unprofessional

I called ahead to ask about an eye exam and was told it would be free with OHIP. They took all my information over the phone – including my age and OHIP details – and confirmed there would be no charge.

However, when I arrived, it turned out to be a trap. They suddenly said I had to pay $266 CAD, despite clearly telling me earlier it would be covered by OHIP. This is misleading, unprofessional, and feels like a scam.

Wasting people’s time and trying to pressure them into paying after promising a free service is not acceptable. I do not recommend this place at all.
