Violet's was recommended to me by a shop owner who no longer carries formal gowns. After checking out the extensive selection on the store's website, I decided it was worth the hour's drive to Strathroy. I was not disappointed! Brad was welcoming, efficient and professional. He offered honest opinions and sound advice. He was accommodating and patient when I couldn't choose between four beautiful gowns, and I brought friends along to help! The whole experience was positive, fun and affordable! I will be back!

I visited Violets this past week with my soon to be mother in law and had the best experience! There was tons of dresses to choose from and the owners were both very attentive. Asking lots of questions about the big day, what colours we liked and disliked in order to make the best use of everyones time. We ended up taking home a beautiful navy gown that my mother in law is in love with! Highly recommend checking them out !

Stopped in for a shopping day. The store was busy. Great sign. A gentlemen showed to support. 40% sale with great options. Tried on a number of dresses. Found two that were great. Both gentlemen were attentive. Great service….glad to have this service in Strathroy.

Fantastic experience at Violet's today when I went in looking for a mother of the bride dress for my daughter's brunch wedding this fall. We weren't exactly sure what would be most appropriate for the brunch wedding and Brad, the owner offered some wonderful suggestions. He pulled so many beautiful options and I did find the perfect dress. The prices were quite fair and reasonable and I ended up getting a dress for another upcoming wedding as well. Well worth the drive from Guelph and this is the first (and probably only) place I will go when I'm looking for a dress from my other daughter wedding next spring.

I visited Violets for the first time over a year ago when I was beginning to look for an outfit to wear to our daughter’s wedding in early October this year. Brad was kind and extremely helpful - eventually he showed me the perfect 2 piece outfit. I returned this September to get alterations and this time he helped me choose jewelry to wear with it. The wedding was last Saturday and as the Mother of the Bride, I felt wonderful. The outfit was so comfortable and everyone paid me many compliments. I highly recommend Brad and Violets of Strathroy for your women’s clothing needs.

Brought my Mom here to find a dress for my upcoming wedding; place was busy but the owner handled it with ease and grace! He was busy but was still able to transfer between his clients to ensure everyone was taken care of and advised on what looks good and what didn't. We ended up finding my mom her dress + did some extra shopping for her for everyday clothes! Wonderful spot! Highly recommend!
