I had a wonderful experience at Once Upon a Time Weddings! This was the first bridal shop I went to and I said yes to the dress without looking any further. My consultant Sarah and Erin made this experience, which can be a stressful one, not stressful at all. You get your own private room for your family to sit in and it has a private change room as well. You have your consultants full attention and support, and I never felt pressured in any way. You can tell Erin and her team are passionate in their work.

After trying a handful of dresses on that matched my preferences, Sarah picked something a little different and said no pressure but if I wanted to try it on of course I could. Well that was the dress I fell in love with! I put it on and the more I looked at it the more I fell in love and so did my family. So just a little tip to try and keep an open mind while shopping 🙂

If you are looking for a place where you will feel comfortable and supported while making this big decision, I highly recommend Once Upon A Time Weddings!

I got my wedding dress and veil last year and during my November wedding I received so many compliments on my dress! I felt like a princess in it! Jessica was so sweet and patient with me - it felt like I tried on 100 dresses. But when I thought I found the one she suggested I walk out to the mirror in the main store area in the natural light to see how I felt about it and that was when I knew I had the dress! Saying yes to the dress was truly a magical and fairytale like feeling at Once Upon a Time Weddings! I highly recommend them.

You were the second store I visited and you guys made the experience so easy, low pressure, and fun that I was able to say yes to the dress at my first appointment! I could tell that they genuinely wanted me to find my dress, not just rush through the appointment to make another sale like some of the chain stores. A great local bridal shop. I had so much fun trying dress here that I would tell any bride to be to go there as they made the dress shopping experience a fun and exciding. Jessica listen to all of my and my entourage concerns and comments the we made about each dress as I had never tried on wedding dress before this appointment. She was every up front about what alterations the designer can do to the dress and what would have to be done in alterations. She also made me feel like I didn't have to "say yes to the dress" right then and there. Even though I didn't end up buying my dress from them I still would recommend any bride to be to go to them for there dress.

I cannot say enough good things!

When I booked my appointment, there was a small questionnaire asking about what style/fit of dress I think I’d like, budget and who will be coming with you to the appointment. They also call you prior to your appointment and ask a few more questions to have everything prepared for you and see if there’s any questions or concerns you may have as a bride. This was extremely helpful for me as I have never tried on dresses before!

When I entered Once Upon a Time Bridal, I was immediately greeted by Tess. She is just as excited as you are and can’t wait to have you trying on dresses!
Tess was beyond patient with all my questions and wanting to find the perfect fit for me. There was no pressure to just “make a purchase” and she’s extremely respective towards your budget.
When I found the dress I fell in love with, Tess helped with accessories such as an adorable denim jacket and a beautiful veil.
Your situated in your own private suite so you can enjoy the privacy of trying on dresses without distractions.
The dresses here are extremely well priced and beautifully made.
I 110% recommend Once Upon a Time Bridal. The customer service and atmosphere is top notch.

I had seen OUAT on social media through other weddings and knew when my time came that I wanted to go and try on gowns there. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the fantastic experience I would have, even with all the positive reviews. Sharon made me feel so at ease when I wasn’t sure about something and thoroughly explained every detail about each gown. I have a feeling she knew what I wanted before I did because she left the dress I ended up buying in the dressing room even though I must have put on another eight or nine after! My maids of honour also ended up getting their dresses there a few months later. They weren’t just appointments, they are fantastic memories that I will always carry with me. If you are looking for outstanding customer service and unique wedding gowns, you don’t need to look any further.

This was my first ever time trying on wedding dresses (back in November 2023) and I had the most wonderful experience at Once Upon a Time! Tess was my consultant and she was extremely attentive to how I was feeling (I was quite nervous to be trying on dresses and how they would look on my figure) and pulled dresses appropriately based on my feedback. She was also super bubbly and made myself and everyone in my bridal party feel comfortable. My nerves were eased almost immediately and we all ended up having an extremely fun time! They also had dresses in many different sizes and styles so I didn't feel like I was being squished into dresses or forced into ones I didn't like. I had found one dress that I really liked but wanted to check other stores before committing. Tess was wonderful in communicating with me through text about the dress and how my process was going. Although I didn't find THE dress here, I would absolutely recommend coming here - they have a multitude of dresses, wonderful staff, and create a warm environment.
