I purchased a used 2016 Honda civic in January, and I thought everything was great. The sales person was very competent and made the transaction easy. However; the car was supposed to come with two sets of tires (winter and summer), when I picked up the car and drove it home there were no extra tires in the trunk. We had to go back and pick up the tires the next day; they were in one of the mechanics bay areas. Additionally; there was a noise coming from the rear passenger wheel; my partner who is in the automotive industry had a look and said the wheel bearing on that side needed repair. This was before I signed or took the car; it was promised that it would be fixed prior to picking up the car, and that a second car key would not be provided because of the cost of fixing the wheel bearing. When I put on my summer tires a couple days ago, the mechanic said the rear wheel bearing needed to be fixed as it was a safety issue, and the car should not have been safetied with it in that condition. The cost has been $600+ to repair, and I’ve reached out to this dealership to resolve this issue but have not had any response about it yet. This is very worrisome because if repairs are being promised to customers and not being done, people’s safety is at risk. I look forward to hearing back and I hope this issue can be resolved, but if you’re purchasing a used car from this dealership be very very careful.

UPDATE: I’ve reached out to several people at this location, and I’ve received no follow up about this, just passing it on to someone else (who doesn’t respond). It seems whoever runs their mechanic and/or customer service is either incompetent or negligent.
