Originally I felt fine with the shop but experienced a very different vibe with a mature salesperson who was anxious to leave and close while I was doing my drop off as per the appointment and providing details like my new address and phone number She was rude-dismissive when she viewed my size 6 Sak’s black shearling car coat … it was a no-brainer collectible that sold immediately elsewhere . Nonetheless, chiding me about her need to depart was unacceptable as was the tone of the emails I received months later from someone ..no name. Won’t return won’t miss it.Inventory is tired tea-party and the merchandising is odd even clumsy.Is there an actual owner ? No idea..it’s run with the mentality of FB marketplace only FB participants observe basic etiquette.

I absolutely LOVE this store! The ladies who work there are always so helpful and welcoming when I come in, and help me pick out some amazing pieces. I always end up walking out with something so unique! The clothes are always in great condition and they have an amazing sale rack that changes frequently. I have both consigned things and bought things at this store and have had an amazing experience!

DO NOT consign your merchandise here!!! Do NOT. It is impossible to get a response from anyone. Calls and emails go unanswered. I went to pick up my merchandise when I had not had any response and one of the items was missing. The clerk had no idea what happened. I had to call several times to follow up. It turned out the owner sold my purse at a deep discount without first asking me (and I had emailed indicating I was picking up my purses). I am told that the contract stipulates that they are allowed to sell at a deep discount, so basically, too bad. I should have picked up my things much earlier, as there were many warning signs.

If you are a purchaser of merchandise from this store, I would also be careful. This business is not to be trusted.

Check previous bad reviews. They all have similar comments.

I am still waiting for a response to my request to SPEAK to someone about my complaint. The owner chooses to have her staff communicate messages without the opportunity for dialogue and resolution, thereby thwarting any ability to resolve things in a reasonable time. Shame on you!

The BEST consignment store ever!!!
I drive from Toronto and it’s always worth it!!!
My mom and I have been coming here for years and we absolutely love it.
Amazing owner, staff and lovely environment, we love coming for the day to go to this shop and for a walk on the lakeshore as well. Every time I go there, I buy something 🙂 they bring in new unique pieces daily, it’s amazing😄 go check it out

No transparency.. they tell you one thing that the high end items you bring in will be a 50/50 split. Not the case when you try collecting your share. It’s 60/40 now, good luck getting your money after they have sold your items over a month and your being given all these excuses.
They even told me once after they sold an item that I got paid cash for it even though they don’t even offer cash pay outs.. two many different employees and no one knows what’s going on with their system. Good luck talking to a owner about your issues cause she never comes around.. they are always pushing the blame elsewhere.. stay far away if your thinking of consigning here.. unless your bringing in one or two items that can be monitored easily.

My fave consignment shop! I don't live close but always try to stop in when driving thru Oakville and most of the time I end up purchasing something - I appreciate the quality of the items and the price points (esp. the end of season sales!). The owner is great as when she's working, she just lets customers be - not pushy or overly 'fake-friendly'.

I live around the area I picked a dress and was not notified there is no return policy.No sign behind the desk about returns.
The owner away for 2 months and nobody to talk to....Worst experience!!!!!
They have relocated next to Tocca finita.
In all my yrs that was the rudest experience I had.
In a very patronizing way the sales lady was trying to make responsible for their mistake.
Why there is no sign behind the desk.
Why there is nobody to talk to when you have a difference of on opinion?
The boss simply away...NO MANAGER.NO RESPONSABILITY.

Sign outside says “luxury consignment”. It has become at best like value village. The clientele has completely changed, I was told my things are too high end. Staff are rude save for May and Sarah. I am awaiting an Interac payment which should have arrived 3 days ago. Shame as Sandy Hicks had a thriving business. I tried to pick up my consignments but some had disappeared and were not on my account.
