Owner add a surcharge of 1 dollar and 50 cents on a 14.50 $ purchase using a pre paid Visa witch is illegal in Canada A visa credit card only charges 3% fee to the retailer whitch is 30 cent on 10 dollars I should have been charged 40 cent no a dollar fifty if i had been using a real visa card they are ripping off their customers. I don't recommend using this store they are unethical.

On April 15, 2025, I bought a Lotto Max lottery ticket from this convenience store. The merchant told me the cost was $6.00. I used my debit card and was not informed beforehand that I would be charged $0.25 for using debit. When I saw the charge for $6.25 in my bank account the next day, I called the merchant. The woman who answered said they charge if a customer uses debit, sorry. If they had told me beforehand about this charge, I would never have used my debit card. I believe it is illegal for them to do this. I called my bank and the bank said they have never seen a merchant charging a customer for using a debit card. Never going there again.

I’ve never really written a review before, but I think now this time I’ve had my last straw while I accept them into our community and they are a fairly decent store when you need things but unfortunately, not all is well well yes there are some things that are new in recent there are some things that are bad and old I had bought bread from here once, and it was mouldy I have buying chips from here that were So stale You could Throw it out the window like a ninja star, and it would break the window before the chip broke. My most recent complaint given I’ve grown up with his business near my area is their back freezer at the very end where they keep the dairy products, completely reeked of mold, and not only that they had an empty container of creamer in there and creamer that was so expired. It was like a balloon. I love and respect this business, but please do better for the sake of The community in Oshawa here Because there are many old people who live here and what if someone actually got sick? Like they didn’t know it was bad and they used it. This is a serious health risk and they aren’t even taking it seriously!!! Please please do better. That is all I’m asking. I’m not saying this to bring down your community or your business. I am simply writing this in hopes that you will listen and improve your business.

do not drop packages off here. very rude people work here; they will not scan your packages for DAYS untill you call and harass them to scan your packages in to get them picked up. do not sign up to be a drop of location if you don’t know how to do your job. i do not need to sit and baby sit you scan in my packages like you would like me too- as you are the store manager or whatever you should be able to simply scan a package. do better.

Best corner shop in Oshawa. The young couple that works there are so friendly and helpful. They take the time to have a conversation with you instead of taking your money and rushing you out. What I love most about the store is they have almost everything you could be looking for. I tell everyone to check the store out if they're in the area.

I wish I could give them LESS then a star. They don't understand what customer service is!! They discriminate against mental illness, the handicapped, and those they can take advantage of. Horrible horrible experience I will NEVER go back in and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about this store that gets away with violating the human rights code.
