This is a review of their black bean salsa
Black beans are undercooked and hard, the salsa is very sweet! Ingredients list sugar! Did a quick 20 recipe search on black bean salsa. None have sugar . I have been making honey made salsa off and on for over two decades and have never used sugar.

And i want to add this: most Mennonite cooking is highly overrated for taste. Sure if i was working again on a farm 14-18 hour days any food would taste great but that is for me the only reason to eat Mennonite food.

The salsa’s are very good! It’s sour but not too much. It doesn’t have that overly acidic taste like the ones from the supermarket. Although the beans in the black bean salsa are hard.

I purchased several baked goods from them at the St. Jacobs market on Thursday. Completely disappointed in their products. The banana bread was DRY and inedible. The chocolate chip cookies had a sandy texture to them. I definitely do not recommend.

Family run business. Rhonda is a lovely person. Reliable products, have been enjoying with our family for years. I highly recommend their sauces and focaccia. My favorite is horseradish mustard. Will be visiting again for sure.

Got cherry crullers at st Jacob's market. $8 for 3. They tasted awful. What a waste of money. They are stale and crumbly. Overly sweet. Threw it out. Even my kids didn't like it. Will never buy their products again.

Purchased a jar of BlackBerry jam at St Jacob's Market. Opened it this morning and found a long hair in the jam!! Could not find an email to contact Country Style directly. Very dissatisfied and threw the entire jar in the trash.

I recently purchased four jars of the Country Style ( Los 7 Amigos) Mild Salsa which I have been using for many years. It has always been my go to brand as it was delicious. We have been using the first jar and it's hot, hot, hot! What happened? Is the recipe changed or maybe the jars have been labeled wrong. Anyway we're not enjoying this new batch. We are very disappointed. There's still 3 jars left and I don't know if our old stomachs can handle it.
