Huge thanks to Jordan for the amazing service! I needed new tires for my bike to go with my new rims, and he got everything sorted in just a few days. Super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and kept me updated throughout the process. The bike feels great now and looks even better. Came to get my skates sharpened, always a nice place to shop. Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of hockey and cycling equipment available, good sales from time to time. Skates are available to rent as well for $15, and sharpening is $8 flat! They also have a sharpening card if you need more frequent sharpening done. Highly recommended!

(Saturday) and hear YES. In by 10:30 am and called by noon for pickup.
Always friendly and great customer service, reliable and reasonable prices!

Phenomenal customer service! Mike and the McPhail’s team went out of their way to help us. We purchased a Specialized eMTB from a store downtown Toronto as it was the last one of an outgoing model in my wife’s size in all of Ontario. After returning home to KW, we discovered an issue that needed to be fixed under warranty. McPhail’s went above and beyond to look at the bike literally right away and got the new part on order. They also installed the new part the same day it arrived which is really awesome. Everyone we spoke to in store and on the phone were super friendly and helpful. We’re new to the MTB sport and will definitely be working with McPhail’s for everything going forward.

I bought a Felt endurance road bike from McPhail's in May and brought it back to the shop after noticing one wheel hub had some play. Their Head Mechanic said the issue was cheap bearings and that he replaced it with a better component. However, after just one ride that wheel was making a very noticeable grinding noise. Curious, I took off the end cap to discover what had been installed was Max 30 bearings designed for suspension pivots in a mountain bike, which is entirely unsuitable for the wheel of an endurance road bike. . Even when the repair was initially done, the mechanic was dismissive and wouldn't discuss any specifics about the repair. I found this odd as I wasn't being accusatory, but rather just interested to know because I have worked in a bicycle repair shop myself and am an avid cyclist. I am disappointed in the lack of transparency and accountability. This was an expensive, brand new bike that should not have had issues immediately - and definitely not a new problem created by the shop's Head Mechanic in attempting to fix the first. An experienced mechanic should know that was not a suitable replacement part and would fail quickly.
Probably best to use the ABEC bearings as recommended for wheel hubs !
I’ve had great dealings with Jordan and Pete in the past… just a little frustrated about the Mechanics brush off .

I'm very happy with my purchases from McPhail's. I purchased two mountain bikes from them, one for my son, and one for me.

The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They were patient to explain all the things that we should consider and why, and never pressured me as I absorbed their knowledge and thought about what we wanted.

One month (almost) in and I've logged over 200km on my bike at The Hydrocut and although I purchased one of the least expensive bikes as an entry into the sport, my BMC rides like a dream and is a vast improvement over my old junk bike that I purchased as a commuter bike 20 years ago for $20 used. My son has logged almost as much as I have and we both love our bikes, and are happy with the quality of the products from McPhail's.

There is a shared parking lot behind the store, and lots of street parking nearby. The store is not fully accessible as there is step up to the main entrance (yes, it's a bike shop, but they sell more than bikes).

I'm happy with the products and the service at McPhail's and I am confident that our new bikes will be well taken care of whenever we need to bring them in for service. Highly recommended.
