I absolutely love the fresh cut meats. Cut and package all different sizes. I even found RAGU sauce. Beef tallow, if you have not tried it, it's a MUST. Great, once it's been melted down, crinkle cut fries and Molasses cookies. The flavor is amazing. Staff are extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly.

Good day, now I'm very disappointed with the service at central meat market as of April 22, 2025 at 11:56pm was the exact time we finished and had our receipt and were leaving the parking lot. Now it all started at the end of the meat markets shift around 11:40pm and my boyfriend and I did some quick last minute shopping. The store closes at 12:00am. We had enough time to get all that we needed, without the nerve racking stress created by the cashier and the awkward fellow that is always in a rush to catch a bus and complains about his miseries infront of us loyal customers, which i find is very unprofessional and doesn't look good for the business of the food market. Finally at the checkout the cashier wasn't impressed to begin with, she seemed to act like we were a problem for being last minute. My boyfriend went to get one last thing at 11: 52pm and the cashier said in a stormy voice, : YOU NEED TO GET HIM NOW!. O.k., I said, so I called out to him and he ran to the till. At this time we still had six minutes left before 12:00am, and we realized we didn't bring enough money, so she then had to take a few things off the receipt, as she was glaring at me and was mad at this point. So now we were left with a few things and the total didn't look right, as it appeared and we mentioned, that it's to high in price for so little amount of grocery. She insisted it was right without even looking over it. So it ended out to be that she charged us for things that we took off, charged us two of an item multiple times even though we only had one and even charged us for a few items that we noticed after we were rushed out of the store that we didn't even receive. Even had a 3 pack of buns but the receipt says for the same buns and the same price but the quantity was for 6 buns not 3, so be mindful of that trickery when it comes to their in store baked goods. The other stuff that we didn't know of we were then told by the manager to COME ON, SOME OF US HAVE TO TAKE A BUS HOME! Well if thats the case, come in half hour early, so you can leave half hour early, so your on time with the bus schedule. He decides to complain about how the items need to be put back on the shelf, mean while instead of just standing their huffing and hawing, he could have put the items back him self but it seems his ego as the guy who wheres the almighty white butcher coat, got in his way and he needed another worker to take it back as they too just stood at the cashier till to sign out I presume. Really wasn't that big of a deal for it was only a few items that had to be put back into the fridge. Not my problem we were rushed out of there and was told the till would shut down at 12am and we wouldn't able to get our groceries, period. We didn't know of this, so mabey he needs to give his position to someone who has better time management skills. We also used our Indian status card and the receipt shows that it wasn't used on the taxed items as the cashier said it was used . I was made to feel I shouldn't be there and they were very rude and not helpful at all. At least we made it before closing as we ride bikes. I have also noticed that the closing shift locks their doors at 11:57 pm, daily, so be aware that their advertising is incorrect, they are not open till 12am, they are open till 11:57pm. So when we got home and noticed the errors, we called and left a voicemail regarding this situation and with a callback number, and they still haven't bothered to call us back, it's now 3:57 pm on April. 23, 2025 . So im going back there to show my receipt and there be a follow up on this despicable matter. Stay tuned.....

Great meat and deli meat selection. Good quality items. Smaller grocery store, some items are a bit more expensive than regular grocery store but they also have great deals. Check store flyer.

I was having a tough time carrying heavy bags, with a baby in my hand, to my apartment when Ali noticed and offered to help me out. I was so relieved! When I tried to give him a tip, he wouldn't accept the money. It's not every day you meet someone so kind and helpful. I really appreciate his help.

No backpacks allowed is outrageous for a local supermarket. Products are more expensive than elsewhere, and the store has a less luxurious feel. The self checkout glitches with certain cards, with no clear instructions as to what or why.

Move close to Central 5 years ago.. go there 2 or 3 times a week, as I live alone. I love the old school and the people working are mostly friendly. Yesterday I was in.. was treated rudely when asking for a product location.. and at thier check out.. the young person who has worked there for sometime.. pushed me through the process.. didn't assist in bagging my purchases.. stacked them so she could take another customer. In the rush there was confusion.. so a few items I purchased ending up going to the customer behind me. Kind we get back to the Friendly environment please..

Good place to buy meats. Lots of options
Not much offers for other groceries, fruits and vegetables.
Staff are friendly but some are not.
Staff billing counter and Seperate counter for self checkout billing is available.
Cost wise compare to walmart , its little expensive.

Parking space available.
Suggestion: kindly Improve the cleanliness and hospitalality.

Used to be amazing but it’s fallen off a cliff.
Now they hide scrap meat parts in every package. Buying ribs? Get ready to find a bunch of non-rib scraps under so they can inflate the weight.
