After a moderately successful sea glass hunt, took a walk across the street to enjoy Eastern Express Take-Out.

The service was joyous and friendly. And the food? I really enjoyed the scallop burger. I decided to upgrade the side to a poutine and it didn’t disappoint!

Portions were adequate and the scenery was relaxing and soothing. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh air.

Nice little food truck. Price was reasonable and food came fairly quick. The fries are amazing and I totally recommend the poutine!
Update: came back in July 2023. Got the hamburger. Really good!

On our way from the East Point Lighthouse to Charlottetown, we got hungry and decided to grab a quick bite in Souris. The Lobster Shack was highly recommended but it looked very crowded and we didn’t have much time, so we decided to try this place. It was a stand-alone food truck next to a beautiful creek right across the road from The Lobster Shack. Granted, it didn’t have the view of the ocean but I would say the view was even better.

As for the food, we ordered a scallop burger and fish & chips with haddock. I’m guessing the scallop burger was exceptional because my Dad didn’t even offer a bite 😂. The fish & chips were also outstanding. The fish tasted very fresh and even better with the tartar sauce and the fries were crunchy and delicious. There’s just something about PEI fries that amazes me; I think it’s the local potatoes. I never recall getting this flavour back home in Ontario.

All in all, a great experience and I highly recommend if you’re in this area.

Ordered a poutine very tasty. There a bit of a wait but that's because it's delicious! They give you a little remote that buzzes when your foods ready and thank God because those mosquitoes are terrible. But it's all worth it to try their food, highly recommend!

Great food and portions!!! You can also upgrade their platters' fries, for a reasonable amount, to poutine or donair fries.

Tried this place for the first time, I got the poutine and omg it was SOOO good! The fries were perfect, and the gravy was the perfect viscosity. My boyfriend got the cheese burger platter with the works and they had fried onion on it for the onions and he LOVED it 👏🏽 also the BEST customer service it was so welcoming ! Definitely coming back!
