The produce section and bakery area are really lacking in the store. The open container for the doughnuts with flies on them too..
Also, It takes balls of steel to ask your customers to “round up your purchase total to help feed the children of Melfort”, then two seconds later your customers leave the store to be hounded by solicitors that you not only agreed to be on your property - but I’m sure you get a nice $$$ cut on each purchase.

I will give you that the last batch of hires for front end have been very friendly and kind

The owner of this establishment said to me last Friday, June 20th, "the housing crisis doesn't effect me Capitalism.". Never occurred to.her she would make more money if people had disposable income after housing? That $75 for a beef brisket that takes all day to prepare and will yield 4 servings? It takes 2 incomes to pay the rent. Who has time, never mind money for that? When people talk about right wing red necks and inbreeding this is why. And no. Not paying Moe's hoes for this bs, dig it? I already do the bulk of my shopping elsewhere. No butcher in Melfort.

Store is fine itself, but we were disgusted to see the majority of the shopping carts were covered in bird poop … would be nice if they were maintained and cleaned

Every time we come here, there are more birds. Today there were a half dozen birds eating, climbing and doing whatever else all over the produce. Asked staff about it, got a shrug. I'm honestly gobsmacked.

My recent visit to Cindy's Your Independent Grocer was disappointing. Right from the start, I noticed the produce section was a letdown. Many of the vegetables were unfresh, wilted, and some even had noticeable spots or bruises. It was frustrating to see such low-quality produce, especially considering the higher prices compared to other grocery stores.

The store itself felt somewhat neglected, with empty shelves in some aisles, making it hard to find basic items. On top of that, there were very few staff around to ask for assistance, and the employees who were there seemed rushed and unable to help effectively. The checkout process was slow as well, with long lines and only a few lanes open, adding to an already frustrating experience.

Overall, Cindy’s didn’t meet the standards I expected, especially in terms of quality and customer service. Unfortunately, I won’t be in a hurry to shop here again unless improvements are made.

Was overcharged on my bill by almost 40 bucks. I live 1.5 hrs from there, so I didn't know until I got home.
Staff had the wrong price tag on the wrong product, but bcz someone fixed the shelf mistake before I could call, I was told too bad, they're keeping the extra money they essentially stole from me and there was nothing they would do to correct the problem.
The place wasn't clean either.
Not only will I never go back there, even if it's the last place on earth with food for Dale, I will actively make sure potential customers k iw they stand a good chance of being ripped off.
I dropped almost 400 bucks of the 460 left to my name for 2 weeks, bought a lot of reduced product that set to rotting as soon as it got in my car but it's all I could afford.
So beware...not only do you PAY for their mistakes, they treat you like garbage for trying to seek recourse.
NEVER AGAIN! JUST NOT WORTH IT!

Normally my experience at Cindy's is good, but today was the complete opposite. My wife and I were at the till trying to pay and our cashier was busy talking to a friend or family member speaking in East indie completely ignoring us while we were trying to pay. Horrible customer service.
