Friendly hostess/waitress/owner? Had the Drake burger with a garden salad for lunch. It was delicious! Goat cheese - yum! Chicken Ranch Wrap was very good too!
Lunch was served quickly and prices were reasonable. Will go back.
Really hoping we can snowmobile there next winter!

The place is a bit old but relatively clean. Very well equipped. This place seemed to be run by a British family, which were nice and friendly. They’ve got a genetal store that sells great Kawartha icecream, a restaurant (now take-out only because of Covid), and a gas station, so very convenient.

They’ve got canoes, kayaks and a thing that paddled by feet, firepit and a BBQ gas stove.

We stayed in Cabin 1 which is the largest with 2 rooms and our semi-private mini beach. The cabin can fit up to 6 people, 1 room with a queen and a bunk bed, the other one with bunk bed. The kitchen is very well equipped, so you only need food to cook really.

The place is a bit old otherwise i would have given a 4 star.

I had to wait for a parking spot to open up and thought it would be busy. I was very surprised to see the restaurant was nearly empty. I had the steak and eggs special. My breakfast didnt look like the pic in the ad that brought me there but still plentiful, hot and fresh. The fried potatoes and eggs were a bit undercooked but passable. By the time I got my food I was so hungry I ate most of it. While the restaurant wasn't busy, I did have to wait for coffee and to order while the server chit chatted with another table of people she knew, then walked right by (no eye contact) to get them water and coffee refills, and returned to talk more. She was laughing and obviously knew them, all while I sat there by myself, waiting to order and needing a coffee. I ended up flagging down another woman behind the counter and asked her for a coffee. I realize socializing is good for rapport and tips, but not at the expense of other paying custimers who are waiting longer than they should. I made the drive here from Parry Sound because of the ad but likely won't go out of my way to return anytime soon just to be ignored.

Convenient place to gas up (diesel too), shop, dine at the restaurant or stay a few nights in the reasonably well kept cottages. Drive up Ice cream bar in the summer. Clean washroom for customers. Friendly owners. Located right on snow mobile trails for winter.

I am from north bay frequently travelling to parry sound for work. Always make this my stop to grab a pop and chi. Friendly staff always. Good job!

Had everything we needed: batteries and campfire starter. Delicious Kawartha Dairy ice-cream at a great price. We’ll be making it part of our tradition.
