Parfait pour ce que nous recherchons. Une nuitée proche du centre ville. Vue sur la mer. Il y a une cuisine avec frigo. Salle de bain avec trÚs bonne pression d'eau. Le seul bémol est le bruit du frigo la nuit. Sinon tout était bien et Valda est disponible pour répondre aux questions.

Not sure on the service dropped a family member of there. From what I saw the rooms are nice and spacious and well equipped with a decent price. Location is very convenient for anyone going to the hospital. Stores and restaurants are within a decent drive or if you enjoy walking not to bad either.

After leaving the hospital, myself, my sister my 3 year old were stranded in Carbonear in a snow storm. I can’t emphasize enough how grateful we are to the owners of this motel, they went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible despite having nothing packed with us and everything was closed or inaccessible, even the gas station. They shovelled us out first thing in the morning and did everything in their power to accommodate us. Would definitely stay here again under better circumstances!

We just stayed at this motel. The room was spotless, clean. We brought our own Keurig pods. Bathroom had gorgeous, soft towels and personal cleaning supplies. Close to hospital. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Best rooms for view of ocean were 105 and 106. I hope this helps future patrons.

Very clean. Friendly host. It was a hot day and their air conditioning installer had let them down at the last minute, but they went out of their way to ensure that we had fans, extension cords, and fully functioning window screens. The ocean breezes soon took care of the heat. The view of the bay from the semi private balcony was exquisite. And the price was excellent!

January 15/17/2025 Our experience of our stay at carbonear motel room 104 as for cleanliness was a 1 ,dirty shower curtain ,dirty toaster ,dirty oven , a leaky spot in the ceiling that hadn’t been fixed but anyone can have a leak at any time.The floors hadn’t been swept or scrubbed in a long time as when we moved the night stand so we could get access to a plug in by extension cord the dirt came with the stand .Beds were comfortable though .Brenda&Joe Pidgeon

Staff that go above and beyond. Wonderful Stay. New ownership really improving the quality. Wifi worked perfectly for watching YouTube without interruptions.
I stayed here to go to a wedding at the Stone Jug and visit Family in Harbor Grace. The front desk was prompt and responsive. First impression of the room was great! We had the two double bed room. The facilities were as expected from the pictures. So the shower wasn't gorgeous but functional and clean with good water pressure. The room was clean. There was an entire kitchen in the room as well with a full sized fridge, oven/stove, microwave, dishes, pans dish soap and cloths as well as a tv. As we were going to a wedding so we asked the front desk for an iron and were going to use the Keurig in the lobby. Front desk let us have the Keurig in the room and I believe bought a steamer, ironing board and iron! Above and beyond! We had a great stay, the location was perfect for being close to the beautiful waterfront area which we walked along many times during our stay.
I was worried when I saw mixed reviews but it was on for a really reasonable price when we went (in the off season) so we tried it out and were pleasantly surprised! Family members told us the hotel is under new ownership and insinuated that they have been renovating all the rooms and that the unrenovated rooms were not so great so that might be what you're seeing reflected in the (older) bad reviews. The lady (Valada?) who worked the front desk whom I assume is the new owner was incredibly kind, accommodating and helped us outside of front desk hours when we arrived late. There is a number on the door to call if she isn't in.
The curtains are pretty but do not block light. Luckily we had sleep masks or the sun would have definitely woken us up! Full length mirror would also have been a bonus. While you're staying there definitely check out the Stone Jug Historic Restaurant down the street as it had great food and atmosphere!
