It's honestly a pretty sorry excuse for a shopping mall. Its best feature is simply that it's the only one in town. It closes so early that I can barely ever visit, and the store selection is more frustrating than helpful. No food court either - can it even call itself a mall without one? And then there's the northeastern entrance, where the automatic doors are bizarrely one-way and even swapped around: you go in on the left, like in England, for no clear reason.

I like walking through this mall to look around the businesses. Not all of them I like, but there are a lot to frequent at. The layout is not too confusing if you are a local in Chilliwack or at least came the mall more than once. The Parking lot is vast, however it can be baffling to navigate your way out through vehicle.

Fun place to hang out with friends and family. No food court anymore sadly so less places to have a bite to eat, but there’s still a few restaurants inside and near by if you’re hungry. Lots of stores to browse and tons of places to sit and have a rest.

I give it well deserved 4 stars. This "down to earth" convenient shopping mall has a very nice relaxed vibe and has central location at the hub of all the major bus routes.
It has one of the best views in Chilliwack because the open space of the plaza is surrounded by the mountains and the sky is just magical at sunset.
It has all retail outlets that you would expect in a small to midsize shopping mall. There is Save on Foods and London Drugs, both very nice quality supermarkets.
There are number of small places to eat in the mall and there are number of restaurants as well as Starbucks, outside in the plaza.

One thing though Cottonwood Mall does NOT have. In fact, maybe the only mall in BC that does NOT have a Food Court..
Yup.. You, folks, got it right.No food court.
CM used to have a Food Court much loved by local seniors. But apparently under the new ownership it was deemed unprofitable and after the section of the mall underwent renovation, there appeared a Liquor Store.
Does Chilliwack really need another Liquor Store instead of a community centered Food Court in an ONLY real shopping mall available for 100K + and growing population You tell me..

On the positive note: this mall has good security and is very clean. There are security patrols throughout the day. The staff are very helpful.
I feel safe being there at any time.

Although the mall is the original mall and is somewhat dated it is still a nice place to go and do your shopping I haven't been there for quite some time but the one thing I do like about malls is when they put seating for people to sit in the mall and get out of the weather and enjoy talking with friends or meeting new friends

Good place to go once in a while. As city doesn't have much options (shopping wise) so it's a go to place for most of the people locally . Within last 2 years new stores has opened up . Would love to see more good brands come in which can save trip to other cities .
