Just went in to buy a cone. There’s a young fellow with a cold, blowing his very runny nose His Kleenex is saturated ! I thought he would wash his hands NOPE came straight over to me to take my order, still wiping his nose with what’s left of his Kleenex . Those snotty hands are serving up ice cream , in the ice cream buckets and handling the cones while I sit by the window watching . So disgusting! These people need proper training on food handling and proper hygiene. Further to your response , I know exactly which business I was at. It was yesterday, Thursday mid afternoon. A younger male was the only person working in the storefront. Shoulder length hair which he constantly put his hands through. If you truly watched your footage you couldn’t possibly miss it. Judging by your responses to other negative comments, you try to deflect the blame on the customer instead of dealing with the complaint.
I have been a customer there since you opened but after my experience yesterday I won’t be back. If you didn’t see his unhygienic habits in your footage then you’re lying and trying to cover it up !

One of the Worst Candy Store Experiences - Not Kid-Friendly at All

Took my two small kids (ages 3 and 5) and their grandparents to this candy store, expecting a fun outing. Instead, we were greeted with the coldest, most unpleasant atmosphere. The woman working there didn’t crack a smile the entire time. My kids were naturally excite, like any kids would be in a candy store, but each time they accidentally dropped a packaged candy on the floor, she looked at them like they’d shattered a priceless vase. It was uncomfortable and completely unnecessary.

To make things worse, while I was using tongs (as instructed) for the loose candy bins, I reached into a bin of already pre-bagged live wires, thinking it was fine since other pre-wrapped items were out for hand-picking. She immediately snapped, “Please use tongs!” even though it made absolutely no sense in this context. The rules seemed arbitrary and delivered with attitude.

We spent nearly $30 on candy, and not once did we feel welcome. You’d think for a store that relies on families and children, there’d be some basic friendliness. But no, just icy stares and tension. After we left, everyone in our group agreed: she was miserable and clearly in the wrong line of work. My parents had visited the day before to scope it out and noticed the same thing, unwelcoming and cold. Definitely not a one-off.

Save yourself the awkward experience, there are plenty of other candy stores that understand what joy and customer service are supposed to feel like. We won’t be back.

I witnessed an unfortunate incident during my visit to the store. An Asian family was inside buying candy when a staff member accused a young child of reaching into the candy. Despite the child not touching the gumballs, the father was overcharged for them. This situation felt extremely unprofessional and created an awkward atmosphere in the store. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place. The reason I mentioned that they were Asian is because you could tell that the true staff members were racist towards them.

I am writing in response to your recent comments regarding my review. It is both disappointing and infuriating to see that you have chosen to distort the facts surrounding the incident I reported.

Your assertion that a child tampered with the candy bin is entirely false and misleading. I witnessed the entire situation, and I reject your attempt to deflect responsibility and paint me as a malicious customer. To accuse me of fabricating this experience is not only unprofessional but also legally questionable.

Your handling of this matter raises serious concerns about your customer service practices and your commitment to treating all patrons fairly. I expect businesses to uphold their policies consistently and without bias, and your response suggests otherwise.

I suggest you reconsider your approach to customer relations and the integrity of your practices. Misrepresenting events and failing to acknowledge your mistakes will only harm your reputation further.

pretty big selection of candy and also a ice cream shop inside. prices can be a bit high for some of the specialty items. They still have some cheaper options.

Stickyès Garison - Unfair Portion Sizes and Unpleasant Service

My experience at Stickyès Garison this afternoon (May 10th, 2024, around 6:32 PM) was disappointing. I purchased four kids' ice cream bowls, but the cashier, Haley, provided uneven portions. Two bowls had significantly less ice cream compared to the other two.

While I appreciate that Stickyès Garison offers kids' portions, consistency in portion size is important. Additionally, the service from the cashier was not friendly.

I've kept my receipt (Order Number 34) as a reminder for future reference. I believe staff training on portion control and customer service would be beneficial.

I find this candy store crazy expensive. Saying that, I do go there to get my fix. But I don't buy that much as it is crazy expensive. I have been there about 8x. Good thing is, because of the prices, I don't buy much when I do go.

We appreciate the consistent quality and quantity of their candy, and especially the ICE CREAM!!

Who can turn down a nice big scoop on a child’s cone for $2.50!!
