I had a wonderful experience with Banister GM in Chilliwack, B.C. My sales advisor, Fresnel, was amazing and made me feel very comfortable and welcome. He answered any questions I had, was honest and very helpful in my journey to finance a brand new 2025 Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss and I absolutely love it! The process went very smoothly, travelling from 3 hours away, bannister got my pre-approval complete before arrival to help speed up the process and get me back home before it got too late. Great experience test driving and then buying a 2023 Dodge Ram 1500. Brad was great and listened to our needs/wants with respect. Hi. Here is a recap of my experience with the Chilliwack GM Bannister Dealership.

I was in a dire need of a new car. The one I had was a Chevy Malibu I had bought brand new in 2002. It had been a trusted and faithful companion for 23 years and 335, 000 KM. But the undercarriage was now too rusty.

For about six months, I had been carefully looking at vehicles on the Internet. I was looking at many dealerships. On April 30, I decided to pay a visit personally to your location. I was interested in 3 used Malibus.

As soon as I entered the dealership, I was met with a congenial and smiling young man. His name was Brandon Bernicky. Straight off the bat, his respectful attitude, his knowledge of his products, and his obvious desire to help me find the best vehicle for my needs, gave me great confidence I could trust him.

I became interested in one of the 3 Malibus, and Brandon offered a test drive, which I took with him. Afterwards, as I wanted to negotiate a price reduction and a trade-off for my old car, Brandon was able to quickly get the Manager to come and talk to me.

The Manager was very nice, helpful and open, and offered me a deal I could not refuse. I was very pleased by his interaction and willingness to help me.

I also met with the Financial advisor,(Tony Raj). He too was very nice and helpful in explaining all that was related to car price and special warranty, etc. He gave me a good discount on the warranty as well.

I decided to buy the car, a 2018 Malibu LT (with only 70, 500 KM!) and came back the next day to make the full payment and sign all the documents. I left my old car at the Dealership, and took possession of my new one. I am very happy with it!

I came back to the dealership a few times afterwards, as I wanted a small fixture fixed, and also to buy some other items for the car, such as rubber mats for winter, an extra fob, etc.

Everybody I encountered, at the Reception, at the Parts, and at the Shop Departments, were all very nice and professional. And, always there for me and ready to help in all things, was Brandon. I thank him very much for his help, his patience, and his cheerfulness throughout.

Also, whenever I had to wait for something, I was invited to help myself with some excellent coffee, and relax in comfortable leather armchairs. That was nice.

Long story short: My experience at the Chilliwack GM Bannister Dealership was very positive and, since then, I cannot stop talking to my friends and neighbours about it!

Thank you to the Management for creating such a good team, and such a great work atmosphere. Indeed, I could see and feel that everybody working there was happy and eager to help. And I think such qualities make all the difference!

I hope that the Chilliwack GM Bannister Dealership will always maintain this excellent combination of team spirit, professionalism, courtesy, and cheerfulness for many years to come. Without such a combination, you may have the best product to sell (which GM does!), but you will not succeed.

And if you are reading this and need a new car, make sure you ask for Brandon Bernicky!

We started looking for a truck weeks ago and found one on line at Banister GM in Chilliwack. I contacted The dealership and Trevor intercepted my inquiry. For the next three weeks Trevor was amazing at providing information in an informative non pushy manner answering the multitude of questions I had.
