10/10, The best game store on the Sunshine Coast.

ve been coming to Gamepoint since December 2022 while visiting family. Since moving to the Sunshine Coast, Gamepoint is truely everything I love (and missed) about local game stores. Every experience here has me smiling on the way out, but recently, I found a card that had me giddy all day. I found a base set Charizard card (see photo)!

The staff are always helpful here. They always ask if I need help and are very approachable. Prices are good and Gamepoint has a credit system so you can trade in your cards. In my experience, theyre open to bartering for single cards too.

There is a great selection of anything to do with games (the store owner even has their own invented game here!). There is options for VR experiences and gaming sessions. They also participate in community events (like Pride) and host tournaments for Magic the Gathering.

I visit Gamepoint ATLEAST once a week and tell my friends back East how great a store it is. Some have said they want to go there when they visit me!

Great store, owner is quick to help and order in new material. They have a great veriety of games and activities. The VR is a blast, and wednesday night is a GREAT Miniature warfare night!

Prices are way higher than any other store like this I've visited. The ads and the amount of posts the owners do on Facebook groups in the area is ridiculously obnoxious, I refuse to go there now, simply due to their aggressive ads in places they don't need to be. Amazon has far far far better pricing.

Great selection for all your nerd needs. The staff is always so helpful and fun to talk to. Brad is awesome, and I have never had a bad experience. Loved coming and playing D&D all throughout highschool, and my younger brother loves coming in for Friday magic. My family always enjoys buying games there because of the good selection and good prices. Always love supporting a local business when we can. 🙂

Great store! Was very impressed with my experience.

Store owner (never got his name) was super pleasant to talk to and knew his stuff. Was able to find out more about an upcoming product of his that I'm going to look forward to. Selection is really good here and my shopping experience was comparable to the stores in Vancouver.

The best little hobby/nerd store I've been to. I enjoy checking out all I come across, see the board game selection.

The selection here is good, but it's the atmosphere inside that really sells it. A little VR section, a good table for board game night, syrup pumps to make some tasty drinks, hot dog cooker, it's great!

An absolute minimal 3 visit location for any need passing through the area!
